I sent my Sim2 Max OS irons in to TAYLORMADE and got VENTUS 6 shafts and said bye to the MAXMT85 STEEL, when the Stealths were released. LOVE THEM NOW AND THEY ARE GREAT!!

Well coach, you and Dave have done an admirable job on the fitting, now is Dave is willing to take the next step. With the hiring of a physio, Dave may gain some flexibility, maintain his current flexibility, and possibly gain a little more speed out of his swing naturally.

Just changed to a lightweight (not -fitted) set of graphite irons from steel. Way better, so much so that I’m having the same weight and flex shaft (after a test fitting) swapped into my Vokey’s, as they now feel like swinging lead weights. The other thing is that there’s little weight difference through my bag now.

As a fellow senior, mid-handicapper, I'm always rooting for Dave to play well. I've been playing graphite shafted irons for 2 years now and it's really helped my game in terms of swing speed and distance. The modern graphite shaft feels every bit as good as steel, IMO. Beautiful golf course there in Leeds. Thanks Chris and Dave.

I have the 54 and 58. Both 10S grind. Work really well for me for close range chipping. My 50 degree wedge is a continuation of my iron set (P790) so more forgiving on fuller shots.

Callaway needs to have more bounce on those. I use 14 degrees on my 60 degree wedge. There’s only come in 8?? That’s crazy. My lowest wedge has 12 degrees of bounce. Looks like I’m gonna have to find a new wedge maker for it to work for me.

I tested both the 2021 (previous iteration) and the new 2024 Staff CB irons side by side. Both felt amazing and to me, identical. Was able to get a brand new set of the 2021 CB’s in my spec for $499 shipped. Was very close to doing the DTC thing with either Takomo or Maltby, and am so glad I gave Wilson a try. For anyone considering new irons in a similar situation I was, I can’t recommend you try this approach enough. The ‘21 model is just unreal. Buttery with surprising forgiveness. You can thank me later 😁
