Clear the code and you have to drive it for about 60 miles before the ecu completes the emmisons testing that they do

Hey bro thank you for the great video. So, I just did this and I have not driven the car yet. It seems that I forgot the 2nd crush washer which would have gone in between the 1st non-fouler and the 2nd. Do you think this will matter? I still have it up on the ramps, I should probably just go back and do it.

@@ERICSDIYGARAGE Damn. I didn't read this until I was already finished redoing it. I use the fresh crush washer on the first nonfowler though. And I placed the used crush washer in between the two nonfowlers if that makes sense. I have not driven the car very far yet. I am not resetting the CEL and waiting to see if it will disappear all on its own. Thanks 👍🏽🙏🏽

I’m at 215k and the front inside tires wear prematurely. Shop mentioned the worn bushings as the alignment could only do so much. I’m teetering between selling and having this done. Any idea on the cost of this procedure?

  • @ERICSDIYGARAGE

It depends on what suspension parts are worn out. For part for the whole front is around 400 labor from a shop could be expensive but I charge 600-800 depending on what gets charged

Nice I’m actually gonna have to do that. I had my bolts on my calipers get stuck and I’ve literally destroyed my sockets my wrenches and that wrench you used to pull that pen out and my mind was just blown. I was like how do I even fix this I gotta buy all new tools And have an alternative to that so now I’m just gonna put a piece of tape around it and I’m gonna put grabber so I’ll remember what I’ll use that for

I ran pure water in summer never rusted up the engine I don’t recommend that for everyone but these 6.0 are pretty tough I was only running water due to slow leak in the radiator but I also own 4 cat eye 2500hds so don’t care if it blew up I’ll swap the engine lol but when I tore It down building it no rust so don’t worry to much about water in there, but get the green out of there the vortecs really do better with dex
