I watched this and Emma Roberts being Peter Parker’s mom and Ben being uncle Ben completely went over my head. I didn’t catch any of the references. 😣

I really love the cheeky elvis song title sneak-ins in this script. Very sly, very creative. I think I only picked up on 2 but I'm sure theres more lol

The comparison you did with Goofy and Pluto does not work because apes and zebras are different species. In fact, that logic would also apply to humans as well since humans are animals, too. In fact, as ironic as it is, humans are apes.

I feel like this video was rushed to be made because there are some details here that are vital that you got incorrect. 1. It’s not his high school sweetheart. it’s someone he met at a bar with his best friend that he set them up with. 2. It’s the war of 1812. Can’t you observe that the major indication is the redcoat his daughter is wearing? 3. If you would have done a thorough research into this film, you can see how different scenes are cut around in the film. What I mean by that, is that they’re showing you parts of the future of their friendship and parts of the past of their friendship in their adult life and a non-linear fashion. In other words, the film jumps around different points in time, not just exclusive to the experience from the drug. It seems to say to me that reality is solely experienced because of the pineal gland, that part of the brain is seems to be portrayed here as the only thing that interprets one’s human existence on this planet.

Glad that I didn't see this in the theater. At least watching it at home allowed me to fast forward past the 😴parts. so much to unpack about this movie, the fight scene at the end being the main one. But the scene with the men drinking outside and not being swamp by bugs was the thing that made me go off the most. I mean they're in the bush, in Afrika and neither of them are swatting at bugs? Also, what guide leaves non native along to search for others? Realistically the uncle should've... Anyway, love Idris but I'm glad I didn't pay to see this in a movie setting. Thanks for the review.

I don’t understand the faith that the filmmakers had in doing this or HOW they pitched the idea to the production company to get it green lit. THATS the real mystery here… Not who the strangers are under the masks.

I really like the first two Stanger's movie and was excited for this one but man the writing really is bad and knowing they filmed all 3 together you know you're in for the same writing with the next two. Like when the main girl went from being scared after one of the strangers returned asking if Tamera was home all while she's alone, then hears someone singing a lullaby but forgets about seconds later and starts smoking and dancing to music like that didn't just happen. movie just comes off as dumb, which sucks bc I thought they might have been cooking with a continuous story.
