    I just ordered a green M360 II (the new version) and can hardly wait to get it. My wife was kind enough to buy me a regular 7 speed trike that is beautiful but uncomfortable to ride for a long distance plus I feel top heavy since the seat has to be high for peddling. The moment I saw the 360 I realized this is the trike I'm looking for. Yes, it is not cheap but I got it on sale ($2942) but I think it's going to be worth it.

Will send you an email asking you your height in your weight so they can preset the seat for you and when they give you the tracking number call the trucking company and tell them you need it delivered in a straight truck so that they only send a 25 ft long truck with the lift gate instead of a 53-ft long semi trailer. I bought the Addmotor M330 P7 two years ago. That trike has been a blast to ride. I get the same reaction from people that you do. This year, I was riding 20+ miles a day. Unfortunately, it is now out of commission with a broken axle. It's going to be another 6 to 8 weeks before I receive a new axle from Addmotor. In the mean time, I have purchased the Triketan M300f. I'm hoping to receive it this coming week. I will need to go to Albuquergue NM to get it. I would love to ride that park where you are, but it's just too far away from where I live.

    I had all sorts of plans for my trike last year while I was waiting for it. Farmers market, fireworks, music shows at the court house park. You know, the fun stuff. Unfortunately, the bike trails are so crappy with their heave lines that I end up more pissed off than happy. The roads are better and less people. I've tried different tire inflation and two different butt pads. Not sure what to do.

The one thing I have found is very helpful for most is to just go to the nearest school where there is wide open spaces and try to put it up on two wheels while under control because you will feel the way the rear end lifts as you turned. But I do have the old model with the motor up front, not the new model where the motor is in the rear. And if you have the new model with the motor in the rear, the chances of tipping is far less

    Buy your ebikes and batteries before the prices go up. On May 19, the Office of the United States Trade Representative announced that e-bike batteries will be subject to new 25% tariffs starting in 2026, a jump from the 7.5% tax currently levied on these products. At the same time, a provision that allowed Chinese imports of e-bikes and their parts to be excluded, since 2018, from an existing 25% tariff is set to expire on June 14-meaning prices could go up much sooner than 2026, reports the Verge.

    No issues with the battery on this one so far. A year and a half and almost 4000 mi on it and it's taking charges just fine and still lasting just as long as it did brand new and I won't be buying a new bike until next year for sure. I don't mind paying the extra tear off. They don't get shipped for free. I don't complain about a little extra because of taxes or the cost of it getting here. If they made him here in the United States wouldn't have to worry about it and I usually buy American products anyway and there are battery stores right here in my town that said they can make me batteries if I need one

    My riding season is about to begin. I have lots of PTO so I like to take every Wednesday off during the summer between Memorial and Labor Day. Perfect day of the week to ride, weather permitting. Less people on the trails compared to the weekend. As for the 2024 version of the trike, I've been tempted, but I decided I like the simplicity of my earlier model. That rear motor/differential combo adds complexity from a maintenance/durability standpoint. And you are right, compared to the 2023 model, weight is taken off the front and added to the rear, which is biased already due to the rider and semi-recumbent design. The front wheel could plow often. It's curious there aren't any vids or reviews on it yet, even from Addmotor. If I get another, I think I'll go for the Soletri M366x. It's rear dive too, but with it's traditional geometry, you're sitting closer to the front wheel to give it more grip. I love that banana seat too. It's long enough for a passenger but would allow my fat ass plenty of room.😂

    Yeah, I haven't found any videos on the new trike either so I am curious on how it handles it. Does tempt me to go ahead and buy the new version just to see how it goes so I can add it to my videos so I can do a comparison between the old and the new, but I'm not so sure I'm ready to throw another big expense that way quite yet

  • @jamesstine7849

    Imagine getting the new one and transferring the front wheel from the old for all wheel drive. Could possibly transfer controller, display, and battery from old trike, for a dual setup. Wonder how they would pair up? The front uses a cadence sensor and the new trike uses a torque sensor. Interesting idea. Wish I knew someone good with electronics.

    Easiest way , is not to mess with wires and nobs. There is a silver dile on the brake caliber that adjust the brake pads ,a lot easier to tune brakes with, you turn it clockwise to bring the pads closer to the disk , use 5 size Allen wrench turn clockwise to bring pad closer counterclockwise to pull brake pads further away.

    Hi Gene, Will here: I've been following your channel for a few months now and thought i would subscribe , I like your video's and appreciate what you've been thru with "Health Issues" similar to mine and getting this Addmotor 360 seems to really work for you so I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on the newest version of the same trike and I'd like to get your input on the new one Verses the older model like you have "The older version is for sale on EBay" i know you love the one you have and that it hasn't had too many issues that's a good thing... so I'm kinda torn between the two have you heard anything about the new one? And can i change the seat out? Great video's keep it up. Thanks Will L

  • @threewheelingwithgene4254
    @threewheelingwithgene42542 ай бұрын

    Well I like the new version. I've had one person that watches my video complain about the new one and electronics issue, but only one bike out of several thousand I'm sure is a pretty good average. If I was to buy one right now, I would definitely buy the new version with the motor beam in the back. The potential of tippage is far less. It's easier to control then the one I have. Even though mine is very easy to ride, I think the new ones would be a much better bike. It gets more range 85 mi mine only does 50 at best. The most I've gotten out of it is 35 so I would definitely go with the new model even though they are expensive. They are very much so worth it and I have not tried to change the seat. I have not seen any other seats like that and the one that comes with it is very comfortable and easy to adjust, but when you buy it they will ask you your height and weight and adjust the bike properly for you. When it arrives everything will be adjusted and all you will have to do is put the front tire on. Put the basket on the back and that's about it. Everything else was together when it showed up when they shipped it to me. Oh the handlebars I had to put the handlebars on

    Oh yes, I also forgot I am extremely leery about tipping and I notice when you ride you tip on purpose it looks like I don’t wanna tip at all. Do you think that’s possible?

  • @threewheelingwithgene4254
    @threewheelingwithgene42542 ай бұрын

    Yeah that's why when I first got mine I went to the school yard closest to me and rode around on the playground and such. There was plenty of places for me to kind of take it easy in a wide open space and got used to how it would feel tipping so I would kind of wiggle it and kind of get used to how it feels as the wheels come up, but it's something you have to get used to as far as body positioned. You just got to make sure you do not have your back up against the rest. When you're doing a turn you have got to be up on your butt cheeks so that the bike can move underneath you and don't hold on to the handlebars too tight. You will have to kind of get used to the feeling with the handlebars as you go through turns. But if you practice in a nice big wide open space, you will get used to it. It's pretty quick learning

  • @netteparks9790

    Hi gene, this is Janette. I’ve been watching your videos because I am seriously considering getting the 360 or the new one coming out with the two wheels in front. I’m really divided between the two. Do you think you could put a basket in the front of your bike I have a little pop that I want to take with me and I love the basket in the back but if I could have her in front, I’d much rather that what do you think?

  • @threewheelingwithgene4254
    @threewheelingwithgene42542 ай бұрын

    A front basket could be mounted on the 360 and the new 360s are rear wheel motored instead of front wheel motor and they get far better range than mine and they don't tip like a lot of the other three wheelers do. It's got the transmission that makes the wheels rotate the right way to keep the wheels on the ground. So it's easier to maneuver in the turns. I have not seen the one with two wheels on the front so I don't know about that one. But I sure like my 360 it's really comfortable to ride and I got used to riding it real fast

    I enjoyed seeing this video. I thought that I was going to see more of the technical aspects of the trike but the photos did give me an indication of the structure used. I like the Pyramidal effect of the structure, using four triangles which give strength with lightness. I totally agree with the change of tyres and I found the same issue riding my home made trike. I am now an old man , five years over four score, but still go around and make modification on existing bicycles. My welding is not as good as it used to be. I was a little concer3ened about this gentleman Gene, who declared that he likes to go fast and he goes on two wheels around corners, advising us to be careful, I do not think that leaning over on two wheels will give me a heart attack but I make it a policy not to drive in a manner that I need to lean out on two wheels. At my old age I am in no hurry to go anywhere. I am sorry about Gene's Heart attack, and am glad that he is doing well riding as he does, All the best and ride well, just do not bother about the odometer resetting itself, in life we should make it a policy to travel as far as our fuel would get us, and nothing will reset our old age to a lower figure.
