That's great that you've went over 2000 miles with no problems. We're trying to save up to get a couple of Lectric Trikes. Have fun!

But they don't make a recumbent like this one. And there is $100 off coupon in my description if you do decide to go with this addmotor M360 but from what I've seen of all the different electric bikes, they're all pretty damn cool

I had a mishap on mine a couple weeks ago. Tried to scale a rather steep access point to a trail but didn't downshift enough. Thought the motor would do most of the work but forgot about the cadence sensor. When I stalled and stopped pedaling, so did the motor. Oops! The hill was steep enough that I started going backwards right away. Didn't have time to twist the throttle. Wouldn't have helped anyway because my weight shifted by this time and there wasn't any grip for the front tire. Just slid when I grabbed the front brake. I didn't dare grab the rear brakes as that would've caused me to tumble backwards end over end. This whole incident lasted about 3 seconds. Somehow I managed to turn the front wheel so the trike swung around and I fell off of it sideways. I rolled over once going down the hill and the trike landed on top of me. I was more worried about it than me, but it was fine. Pretty tough frame. Nothing out of alignment. I got myself together and rode the 2 miles back to where I was parked. By then I realized my left shoulder was messed up and my lower right leg was really hurting. The shoulder regained its range of motion after a few days but turns out I sustained a stress fracture of the tibia in the lower right leg. Probably from being wedged against the pedal during the tumble. I drive a forklift for a living and getting on and off the thing slowed the healing process of the leg, but at least I was able to work. I didn't dare ride as work aggravated it enough and work is priority. It's much better now though and I feel by July I'll be riding again. I miss it. The trike is really fun to ride.

Yeah I got learning curve. It's a real pain in the ass. I had it roll backwards on me once too but I was lucky enough that it wasn't all that steep and I was able to stop it from moving with my legs and the brakes and was able to swing it around. So fortunately it did not throw me, but I'm glad to hear you. Can't wait to get back on it again as soon as you are all healed up

Well glad you've ordered yourself. A new one suck. Someone stole your old one but that gives you a goal. I need to put 2,000 miles on this new one

I have one video in my listing of upon two wheels. It shows me going around the corner and it tipping. I give you tips in there on how to keep it under control. The one thing I have found is very helpful for most is to just go to the nearest school where there is wide open spaces and try to put it up on two wheels while under control because you will feel the way the rear end lifts as you turned. But I do have the old model with the motor up front, not the new model where the motor is in the rear. And if you have the new model with the motor in the rear, the chances of tipping is far less

It is an old model not as good as the new ones. So I only get 50 mi on a charge. The new ones get 80

How far can you get if you don't paddle at all

Without pedaling at all the most I've gotten out of it was 30 mi but the new models are supposed to get 85 mi on a full charge with pedaling so I would assume at least 50 mi without pedaling with the new models and the new models also have the motor in the rear instead of up on the front tire like mine is. So the stability and control is much better with the new models over this one

I have the new one. Rear-wheel drive. I only get 12 miles without pedaling. I bought a new battery and it's the same rotten results. Save your money. Keep the one you have

I would not give up on the bike. That sounds like an electrical problem that your local bike shop might be able to take care of for you. You can be mad at addmotor for not resolving your issue but don't give up on the bike or I guess I should say trike because it is a lot of fun and it sounds like you are very frustrated with them. So check with your local bike shop and see if they can help

i have gotten throttle only about 20 miles and still had 2 bars. but of course I started off on four bars so 2 bars equals 20 miles.

Well if you keep it down on level one you may get 85 mi out of it without peddling. But if you go up on any of the higher levels, I don't think you'll get the same mileage. I would say probably a minimum of 50 on the top level and it will do 20 plus miles an hour on the top level of power

@@threewheelingwithgene4254 trhe most you can get is 45 with throttle only, that is what they told me. we rode last month and I got about 20 miles whenw e started out I was down a half bar, and by the time I got back tot he truck there was only a bar and half, but I am heavy and the bike is heavy too and we do have undulating hills, nothing steep tho but I am thinking my milage guage is off, dont think it is accurate.
