i got one a month a go and starting to fall in love with it, it is the rear motor, just be aware when you have rear motor the bike tends to go to the left I have to really focus to get it to go right in a turn, love the other features, my knee seems to be getting used it, I have some knee trouble, seems to be gaining more flexibility without pain, pedal assist is wonderful. love the basket, I have to complain about assembly of the basket hard to see underneath it to bolt on the basket, tight fit on the front of it for your hands a guys hand would have even more trouble, and seeing what your doing by torking your body almost upside down, everything else gone on well, have been riding around the yard and driverway getting used to how it turns, and getting used to the long base, next time will be riding up the road for the first time.

That's great to hear! I'm kind of wondering how it's going to do up on two wheels going around the corners. If it pulls to one side it may be giving more power to one side and that's going to affect turns. But what I have found to learn how to ride is go to a school nearby and right around they have large playgrounds that you can control your turns and other things that you may want to try to figure out about the bike in a wide open space. That's where I go practice if that helps

Something is wrong here. If it constantly wants to go left, then it sounds like only the right wheel is being driven. The purpose of the differential is to allow the wheels to rotate at different speeds while turning, yet split power equally while going straight. If you can, put something under the rear of the trike to get the wheels off the ground. Twist the throttle and see if both wheels rotate. If only the right one does, then something may be wrong with the differential. Another test is lift each rear wheel one at a time to see if the throttle rotates it alone. You can also rotate the pedals instead of using the throttle, but that's more cumbersome.

How is the battery after one year and 3000 miles?

It's doing fantastic. Still charging fully in 6 hours and holding the charge for the same 30 mi. I've always gotten out of it since I first started writing it because I like to write it up on level five all the time so I get a little less mileage out of it. But it's doing great. I have no complaints
