Molchanovs Freediving

Molchanovs Freediving

Freediving education, gear, and content - by freedivers, for freedivers.

Molchanovs is all about freediving. Whether you’re looking for training tips, gear info, technique guides, dry routines to do at home, or just a healthy dose of underwater motivation - that’s what we’re here for. Our mission is to share our love of freediving with the world.

As the great Natalia Molchanova once said, “Freediving is not only a sport. It’s a way to understand who we are.”

Let us help you discover who you really are.

Cover shot a bit misleading. Apparently two other guys did it with him looking a lot more casual about it!

Good morning, I have been interested in the topic of breathing for several years. When traveling by bus, I often try to breathe only the volume of air "in my nose" I was interested in the topic of breathing reduction... can you "get to know" your breathing capabilities/limits during the classes? determining the minimum number of breaths per minute or minimum tidal volume. Are there methods using re-breathing or breathing with a lean oxygen mixture? supervision of an instructor, maybe somewhere, someone conducts some interesting experiments related to breathing?

Hi Alexei. I go back to Barcelona to die. If they want me sleepingi go to sleep for free. After two months I hope I will have enough to go back somewhere I don t know if Nassau dean's Hole lord Howe cromandel or Iceland. My hand is breaking my eyes are braking my feet are braking and my lips are barking so if you can with the paraplegic and the fat I can t. In Ille rousse nobody was enside the ocean doing nothing. Is a good place but they are only for the catamaran for children and no ships for the woman freediver. They prefer to rent to the fat and disgusting. So so sleep and see you again I don't know where. When I will wake up I will tell you something. Rubbish Catalan sheet man. So nothing to do. Rubbish ocean and rubbish everything.

Where are you? I quit Ille rousse because they killed me with cancer paraplegia and people without form on the feed and on the face lips. I am in bastia and I will try to move to Toulon where there are sailors. In Ille rousse they don t want to rent me any ship to go to pelagos. Maybe in Toulon I am not shure. The unhumanity is eating me. Hugs!!! Say hi to alexei. I don t know how but I am needing to start to think serious to go to dean's hole Nassau or cormandel. I am in the middle of the colera studies with diatomeas but I am tired to ask for funds for nothing. Alex is not understanding yet why they do the genocides in Peru or wherever. I don t have any confident person to speak and is obvious why they do the genocides so I found ascidian in Ille rousse near the poseidonia but is not the right diatomea for the colera so I need to run away again. I am killed every second by everyone. Hugs and hugs and so on so on!!! Monika Castells Estella***

I've met her in 2005, and on some later occations. I whish I knew more about her at the time of meeting her. This also makes met think of others I'm about to meet the next freediving competition. The impression I got from her was a very focussed person who was a bit apprehensive or reserved to strangers like me. She was kind and polite. Anyway such a limited memory of a few minutes and couple of encounters is mine. Lovely documantary!

It's similar in many aspects but not the same. Many swimmers try fimswimming as well, but only a few succeed on the top level
