G'day folks, welcome to my channel.
Feel free to subscribe to follow along as I tackle projects ( usually a random or spontaneous idea that pops into my head! and quite often requiring me having a go at certain things I have no experience with ), the occasional kayak/camping trip where I continue to catch less fish than I'd like. And well, if something different pops into my head, I'll possibly film that as well. Mostly it's about keeping the mind occupied with things I love to do, being outdoors for one, a bit of inspiration, an adventure here and there, and just plain old enjoying life in and around this crazy old world we live in.
Stay well and thanks for watching.
Cheers,
Mark.

Hi feller amazing build I noticed it and thought omg hope I wasn’t too late but you’d done it the noticed you changed it my ocd was kicking in not hate tho really enjoyed you video thank u cheers John
Thanks for watching John. 🙂 What change did I make that you refer to? I did that many times throughout the build. 🙂
Typical found you when I needs a vredue and your tother side of the world im too old to travele it back to the UK it would take about 3 years Sir you are a true craftsmen
From what I understand, the UK has a lot of them! Thanks for watching. 🙂
hmm. i had no idea one gypsy wagon video would turn out to be such a rabbit hole (lot's more videos, like this one - 'one weird bit' is worth it's weight in content :) and the wagon runs away with the spoon...jeez mark, such a story. so one last question for you, why did you decide to go on youtube? you're good @ it! liked the star war's power tool trick, peaceful pace set in nature, quirky charisma, watching the wagon unfurl.. land ho, mate
@cindyglazzard Well, I guess I just thought it would be a good idea to film and share the projects I tackle, if they're interesting enough. I've since learned that I thoroughly enjoy the editing process, trying to cut a story together. Didn't think I'd actually enjoy sitting at the computer using an editing program. So it's an enjoyable hobby you might say. Maybe I'll actually make some money from one day! 🙂
Amazing! I have always wanted to do a project like this. Good for you for making it happen
Thanks Jo. I hope you can launch into a similar project one day, whatever it may be. 🙂
Vauuuuu překrásný krásná prace❤❤❤
well, it seems like something you have been thinking about for perhaps years? so did you just come upon the wheels and know it was time to start the project? or was it a short trajectory from idea to implementation? - & savage skill set dude!!
@cindyglazzard I get ya now. A bit of both. Have always loved gypsy wagons and the idea of one day building one, but it was never a solid plan, until...the carriage and wheels appeared on facebook marketplace at a price that wasn't too oppressive. Then the idea of building one went into overdrive, I just had to get it! Then I just made the rest up from imagination helped by multiple picture examples. 🙂
so you said your original inspiration was the painting. what sparked the 'now'? i was laughing @ the rain gutters, but what a great rain water catch system! thanks for this :)
Thanks Cindy. I'm not sure what you mean by the 'now' ?
It’s great. Me personally do not like the scroll painting you added. I think it looks shabby
@johnhempsall4644 Thanks for watching John. Each to their own I guess.
You are a true craftsman very few left
Thanks Anthony, appreciate the comment. 🙂👍
How do you make the wood curvy for the roof
I basically cut the shape from plyboard. Check out Part 5 of the Wagon build series for greater detail. 🙂

@christokaloudis2050 Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it. 🙂
Hello! We are thoroughly enjoying your gypsy caravan build..well done👏 In 1997 my husband and I visited Selborne UK and met Peter Ingram, who restored the wagons and had a gypsy caravan museum..he also had a camp fire and showed us his expertise cracking the whip. He published a book called Wagtail Tale (gypsy life of bygone days) in 2014 but I haven’t been able to track it down. Never give up☺
@TerryJANSEN Hello back. Glad you're enjoying the build. 🙂 The book sounds interesting, hopefully you can find it.
Good job
Makes a video as good as his wagon. Keep On!
Okay
How long did it take you to finish building your gypsy caravan?Wow it is beautiful inside and outside of your caravan, well done
Thank you Kim, glad you enjoyed it.🙂 It took me about a year and a half in total, but peppered with occasional breaks away from it.
I love the way that you are making the outside of the caravan look even more beautiful
I love the door and window that you just attached to the caravan
I love the paint colors that you painted on the gypsy caravan, really beautiful

Awesome work 🎉🎉🎉 from India
You have created a work of art to camp in. Not sure I would take it on the highway but it is a beautiful well built work of art, that is functional as well as pretty.
Thank you Renee. Glad you enjoyed it. 🙂
This has inspired me to buy an 1850's dilapidated wagon and ATTEMP to follow your lead to build a Vardo for my two precious tiny granddaughters to play in (and me!!!) 🤩 I'm SO EXCITED!!!

Parabéns pelo capricho. 🇧🇷
If the dangle brothers had built this. ... They would have earned thousands from KZread for the video It's a shame genuine craftsmen like yourself can't. Great wagon dude..
Thanks Steve. Hmm, I had to look them up, hadn't come across them before. Well, I think I made about a hundred bucks over the last few months...I'm hot on their heels! 🙂 Thanks for watching. 👍
