For the was, you have to go over it with steel wool to get the satin and no have the grainy feel

Hello! The stairs look beautiful. I painted my stairs going to the basement, but they were black. They are holding up well but it does make it look darker. I'm considering painting a different color but taking a little more time. I did them on the weekend and did not fill the holes so definitely need to redo them.
I'm renovating a 1929 home in a period farmhouse style. I'm doing beadboard paneling but I have 9' ceilings, and I need to take up 12" of wall between baseboard and crown molding. This will be perfect. Thank you.

I was searching for painting tile on a 1920s fireplace and your video came up - I’d bet money yours is original. It looks exactly like ours in our house that was built in 1920, same square tiles and wide grout, only difference is our tile is an olive/taupe. Going to give it a whirl but with the hearth a slate gray and the surround white dove - to match our mantle (all our trim is painted white dove too!). We’ll definitely use the primer you recommended, thanks!! Yours turned out beautifully!! 😊

Thank you for this video... I bought the Utaker a few years ago, used them just as normal beds for when my sons were home from college... We almost just got rid of them because we are downsizing... I am so glad we didn't, I can now repurpose them into a couch! Thank you!!
Love this. Next time try priming the boards, then use a premium paint and primer blend like Sherwin Williams Showcase you will only need 1 to 2 coats.

Between the Jenny Lind bed, Beatrix Potter books, boarded walls... there are so many elements we also included that I've felt have made the space feel so cozy and magical and sentimental. you have done SUCH a phenomenal job tying all the various elements of this space together.
