VBAC Success Story with Induction + Third Trimester Recap and Postpartum Details

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

The time has come again for me to share my birth story, except this time it ended much differently than before and I am so excited to share with you all that I had a successful vbac. I hope my story inspires anyone who has been told they can't have a vaginal birth or hasn't even been offered a trial of labor because unfortunately in our healthcare system cesareans are suggested and pushed on women far too often and you have to do your research, educate yourself and advocate for yourself if you think it is the right thing for you. I am so glad I did. Thank you all for your support and interest as I move through these new chapters in my life.

Feel lucky that your c-section was a good experience, mine was awful and I still cry when I think about everything that was taken from me. This time around I am determined to get my VBAC, even if I have to advocate for myself and hoping my baby stays head down.

Congratulations! I can't imagine having a gallbladder attack while pregnant. I had an attack in 2018 and had mine removed. My stomach is much more sensitive to certain foods..res meat/greasy or fried. That pain was worse than labor to me! Best of luck and health to you!

Congratulations to you Megan, your Husband and Sweet Miles and welcome to Isla!! I has a my Gall Bladder removed at 21 and put up with the attacks for over a year before having it removed. Like you, I had one large stone and diet does help with the attacks. I found I could not have Dairy and my worst attack was after I had had a small amount of raw green capsicum/pepper. Watch your diet and eventually have it removed, life is wonderful without it!! I thought Isla looks a lot like your Husband. Very best wishes and it was a great to see you again.

So glad you’re ok. Congratulations. I had gall bladder attacks during my first. 80’s. They gave me morphine and demoral. X-rays. Yeah, they’d never do that today. I look back and cannot believe they did that. I didn’t question the Dr. I was 19. I didn’t know. Had my gall bladder out two months after I gave birth the old fashioned way. 1986.

Aww I should put my video up. I had my daughter at 25 weeks by c section, I had a bad infection that was 2016…. This year I had my son at 35 weeks with the help of a cerclage :-). They was supposed to remove it at 37 weeks, but my son broke my water at 35 weeks, and it was crazy. I thought the baby would just come… my contractions stopped and i had a Vbcac 10 hours later. Spontaneous is good, but i was freaking out and i was also GBS +.

Hi Megan, you look positively wonderful! So happy your birthing experience was a positive one this time. Your baby is so adorable. I had my gallbladder out back in the 80's with the traditional slice & dice surgery. It left a 10 inch scar but I was past my bikini days by then anyway lol. My Dr told me at my first post op that they were working on a way to do cholecystectomy surgeries as an out patient. I almost fainted. I had spent 2 miserable days in the hospital. I later found out the hospital had just purchased it's first laparoscopic equipment. I think you still have to stay overnight after surgery though. I can tell you my experience with night sweats was definitely from menopause and my hot flashes made me want to jump in the shower clothes and all lol. My personal thermostat hasn't been right since menopause🥴

So happy I found this video I really want to try for a vbac and I'm hoping I do dilate to 2-3cm by my next appointment to get induced and as same as you my Braxton hicks have gone away they started at 36-37weeks at night I would get back cramps but then at 38-39cm weeks now I don't feel any, and this video is helping me think more and more about induction if I'm a good candidate.

Gallbladder attacks are common during pregnancy and after delivery. I was advised although the attacks subsidize, it guaranteed they will come back in the future.

My first baby was 9 lbs. And my second was 7 lb 6 oz. Totally different. I don't think there's any scientific evidence to support that some women just "have big babies."

Relax and try to enjoy the last days with your first baby!! They’re so precious as everything is about to change forever 💛 also if you have to be induced, just try to stay positive. I had a really hard time with that myself. Wishing you spontaneous labor and a quick vaginal delivery! In the end you’ll have that precious boy in your arms no matter how he gets here.

Hey there! kzread.info/dash/bejne/oa2rlNZmZbDIkbA.html my first birth story is there for details on why I had a csection the first time. I believe now that it was because I was rushed during my induction process. Had they given me more time to get into a better position and not raised the pitocin on me so quickly I may have been able to progress more naturally and push my baby out. 2.5 years between cs and vbac.
