Thank you for this. What are you using for your screen share and ca,era? I like the side-by-side with rounded corners and drop shadow.
Thank you very much! A great design for a tab interaction which was easy for a beginner to understand.

I love how you clarified that you're not looking to get hired by turkey-cooking companies🤣 Another helpful video with actionable advice. Thanks, Tim!

Great Information Thank you
OMG! I am learning the Articulate Storyline to create my portfolio and you have made this so easy to follow along. Very engaging as well. Thank you so much!
Hey Tim, i currently use Storyline but my partners use Lectora. I am trying to decide if Lectora is a better tool. Do you have any knowledge of Lectora?
Is your course meant for those looking to transition to a career in ID, those who currently work in the field, or both? Thanks!
It's free...and it's meant for anyone new to this industry.
@@elearningacdmy Thank you!
Simple and very structured approach
I have watched a lot of your How-To workshops and have applied them successfully in my own personal projects to help me learn Storyline and just design principles in general. I’m so thankful to have clicked on this video this morning because I definitely need it. I’ve been working from the time I wake up to way past my bed time (e.g., 6:30 a.m. to 2 a.m.) just so I can complete projects to show jobs that I’m somewhat capable and dedicated. It’s been hard because when I searched through different media (like the instructional design subreddit on Reddit), I feel discouraged because I feel like I don’t have enough skills. “I have to learn this technology and that one,” is what I start thinking, and ofc I end up overwhelmed. I’ve signed up for the course before the video even finished, and I can’t wait to go through it today.
Thanks for sharing and being vulnerable! It's a lot...I know! Take some time to watch the videos...take a few deep breaths...and allow yourself the space to reset mentally. 😮💨
Who doesn’t love acronyms?! 😂 Thank you for cutting through the noise, Tim! 🎉
Ha!
Thank you, Tim! You're a life saver!
Hey Tim, I just wanted to say thanks for all your Storyline tutorials here. I recently started learning Storyline from scratch, and out of all the tutorials out there, I find your content the easiest to follow. Plus, the way you present and talk about stuff is super engaging, relatable, and fun to watch. So, thanks again!
Thanks, Michael! I really appreciate it! You can find more of my content inside our Knowledge Base here: community.elearningacademy.io/c/knowledge-base/

Great session - learned loads!
I am my own 'stakeholder' in a technique I have developed over 40 years and I have been wrestling with the structure of a blended programme to teach it for literally years. I recently subscribed to your channel after watching your presentation on Techsmith and out of the blue KZread presented me with this today. I watched it and the scales fell from my eyes. One free subscription to Miro and an action and outcome focused mind map later has enabled me to make more progress in the past couple of hours than in the past two years. Thank you.
Another option instead of saving these individually is to rename the .PPTX file extension to .ZIP. Accept the change, and open the .ZIP file. In there will be a 'ppt' folder and within that a 'media' folder that contains very individual asset as a png/svg to insert into storyline.
This was so helpful ! Thank you Tim Slade
Tim know that this was so helpful! You deserve a million subscribers!!!
Thank you so much! I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed it!
Thanks Tim! I found this video so valuable. I'm a baby ID and getting stuck into my first major solo projects, and I'm here to start defining my processes.
Sooo Simple
Thanks!
Thank you For Clarifications in Simple Language

Great Explanation and Simple Language Thank you 🙏
Glad you liked it
So helpful! Thank you!
You are so welcome!
❤
Thanks!
Very helpful, thank you!
I'm glad you liked it!
As an ID that was *previously* a Graphic Designer and is expected to do both, I feel personally attacked. 😂 Great course though. I agree with the gist of this.
Ha! Thanks!
Hi! I was curious what you use for creating your videos with you on one side and the video or items your showing? Is it Final cut pro?
Great question! I record and edit everything 100% in Camtasia.
@@elearningacdmy Thank you!
This was SO helpful. Contracts, pricing, clients etc! Took away alot and may need to rewatch!
I'm glad it was helpful!
Rock content?
Anytime you go with a slider you know you're leveling up! Looks great Tim!! Also, I'm a big fan of the very unique record player, even just used visually, very nice colorful touch! Overall, very clean, modern, cozy, and cheerfully inviting. Also, I was *this* close to buying that lego earth/sun/moon orbit this week! Went with The Office set instead!
Thanks, Nate!
You are the best Tim. Have been following you with Storyline for a really long time. You always have an answer just when needed. Thank you!
Thank you!
This is inspiring! Thanks for sharing, Tim, and congrats. I do have a question - I have procrastinated way too long on finding an external camera for my laptop. Any suggestions for features to look for in a quality but affordable camera?
Happy to help! Here's what I recommend for an external USB webcam: www.loom.com/share/262f0afd7ed84075b05d22ef15ee4a17?sid=860d635c-7bfa-46e7-ac9c-d4cef0780bfe

Thank you for sharing this, Tim. The new set up is wonderful. :-) I look forward to seeing more of your videos about instructional design filmed in this new space.
Thanks!
Simplified, to the point and great!
I'm glad you liked it!
Looks great Tim! I hope this new layout works better for you! I'm going to be updating my office space too so I'm going to take notes
Thanks for watching!
Look at you and your glow-up! Love it! ❤
🤗 💅
Very nice Tim! 😊
Thanks! 😀
Your new space looks wonderful! Thanks for the behind the scenes.
Thanks for watching!
It looks amazing, Tim! I love how clean and bright it looks. You did an amazing job :)
Thanks, Cynthia! I really appreciate it!
Looks great Tim. I hope you're doing well xxx
Thanks, Cath! I'm looking forward to catching up! I'll hit you up soon!
I didn't notice the movement until you mentioned the track you're camera is mounted on, but now that's all I see! It's a cool feature, though, that makes the video subtly more dynamic.
Totally agreed!
Looks good! How do you capture the camera video to Camtasia? (if you still use Camtasia)
Yep! I still use Camtasia, along with an Elgato Camlink 4K to record directly into Camtasia. amzn.to/3VetSKG
Love your honesty about Air Bnb lol
It was truly awful.
