    @@Ma70rk Lmao I'm exaggerating, it's probably not that bad but it's definitely off. Especially on the drivers side, just looking at it you can tell it's off. I think I'm gonna end up replacing the whole axle beam whenever i get around to doing the bushings, but I could probably get away with some shims in the meantime. It got bent when I was doing my clutch, told my buddy to go lift up the rear end and instead of using the lift point under the trunk, he put the jack right in the middle of the axle beam. It's bent like a bow now, and is especially noticeable since the TRD sway bar stayed rigidly straight.

  • @Ma70rk
    @Ma70rk26 күн бұрын

    @PlayinWithMahWii yeah once you get the beam, definitely a good time to hit the bushings, might be easier with the beam out too. @@Ma70rk thinking about modding the stock air box. Similar to the how they mod the stock s2k air box mainly for induction noise since there’s seems be little benefit of actual cold air and the carb legal ones are way too overpriced for a minimal bump in power. Plus, the Reflash it self would also need a full exhaust upgrade 🫠

  • @Ma70rk
    @Ma70rkАй бұрын

    I've read on forums about people either drilling out the bottom, shaving the inside ridges and plugging the butterfly valve to the air box. Personally I've tried plugging the valve, it's real minimal. But I plugged it back in. I believe a cold air plus tune would see some decent gains. Or honestly just the tune. May not increase power much, but we can get a much nicer torque curve. I'm saving for either a link ecu or powerFC, need more subscribers 🤣 I haven't heard an exhaust for our cars that i like. Our biggest limitation is the bottlenecking happening at the header collector. Piping gets shrunk down to under 2in. I think ideal for me would be like a race header and the quietest muffler you could find

  • @Sittnslideways
    @SittnslidewaysАй бұрын

    @@Ma70rk personally just looking for intake noise, I am currently running a mwr reflash that adjusts the lift to 5800 and bumps the limiter. I think it’s a must if you have an +05 since the stock lift is at 6800 🤢. Also, speaking about the exhaust options, the current prices for the headers is tough pill to swallow with them being around 1k. I recently saw plm is planning on making a knockoff header of the ppe header for 400 so that could be an option. I personally would get ppe header and go with a full 2.75 custom exhaust with the vibrant street power muffler and their longest resonator. But, paying over 1.5k for a full exhaust setup is hard to justify considering I bought the car less than that and I am at 250k miles rn.

  • @Ma70rk
    @Ma70rkАй бұрын

    @Sittnslideways nice! So you already got some goodies, for the price, I'd rather invest in getting lsd installed over an exhaust system. I seen that plm one, it's like pre-order for that price right? I reached out to them to try and be the guinea pig for fitment and dyno lol. But intake noise, I really liked my short ram, but the 1-2hp gain at almost redline wasn't worth the worse torque curve

I’m currently rebuilding my whole Engine bay at the moment My family have 03 XRS 135k been leaking for years. Finally decided to fix the leak and I went down the rabbit hole. Hahaha Freaking upgrade all lightweight pulleys. Upgrade the whole engine bay 🫣 with all ultra racing strut bar. over Plus, I had a pair of LS460 projector for over 10yrs. It was for my GS400.

    What's up bro, you should roll through! So far the BCs have been great the biggest flaw isn't necessarily with the coilovers themselves, it's the suspension design of the chassis. If the roll center/ rear camber and toe can be corrected, it will probably handle better. I'm currently working on that part and will post a video as well I 100% support the projector retrofit. I still have my oem headlights from my is350 that I was gonna use, but just went with a kit from theretrofitsource

    Yeah, they can carry the weight. They're probably good for someone who does not want to go as low as lowering springs OR want a linear spring rate with a specific shock. It just wasn't what I was looking for. Also, thanks for watching!

    Bro. I just had that moment yesterday. All I did was swap koni yellows with new ones. Thanks for the life time warranty. It was nice and low withe old ones. With the new ones I was like wtf? It was a 3 finger gap. Set to the lowest perch too!?? I'm thinking it was the new upper control arms I installed. Damn.

    Yeah man, was super disappointed. I had mine like past the lowest setting. Maybe good for someone who doesn't want to go as low as just lowering springs? I've ordered some BC DS coilovers so will update when those get installed, Thanks for watching!

    Well done - I really like your presentation skills. Gives me confidence to do it myself soon.

    @tylerthebald3992 Appreciate it brother! trying to get better with every video. But you can definitely do it, most important steps are dont cross thread the tie rods on, make sure they thread all the way in and torque everything to spec!

    Nice... pretty sure I need to do this as well. Just got some new shocks for the front though, going to start there. I'm not cool enough for coilovers..
