Amazing how much we are not able to see until we slow videos down or speed them up.
6:13 Tim samaras and his twistex crew was right behind him in this shot. They most likely died right then and there.
Nah, that is just God using his giant vacuum to make sure the land down below is nice and tidy.
Monday Morning QB , I know. But @2:17 was a fateful decision. They BOTH should have turned LEFT on Highway 81 and headed North! 😢
Rainx would have helped.
I understand wanting to get clicks and views, the title is intentionally misleading, which (in my opinion) is pretty low considering there were casualties involved... El Reno was an EF3 not an EF5.
Around 4:40 is where Tim samaras car was picked up, more than likely only seconds after he had gone through
That brick silo that you see towards the end that disappeared in the video i was parked in front of it 5 minutes before and went douth it never crossed my mind that there were people behind me that was a wild day godbless those that survived and and forever remember those that lost their life on that unprecedented storm
Edit: douth, meant south
I was getting 80mph plus inflow before i left the brick silo position
"Back to the Future" 😊
Very cool shots!!
Beautiful lightshow, Dan
It's this what they call, "dead man walking" tornado? It sure looks like one. Great footage. Stay safe out there, it's not over yet.
The most spectacular lighting video
Ugh sooo relaxing!!' Sleeping video🤍🤍🤍🤍
I would say you are the BEST at capturing lightning!!!😊😊😊😊😊👍👍👍👍👍
Love this footage! Im from U.P. of Michigan, rarely get lightning, but lived in S. Dakota for a few years & often saw lightning like this, VERY AWESOME AND VERY EXCITING to me!!!😊😊😊😊😊
good job friend
heyy I remember this storm. I could see that lightning hitting the towers from a distance
Awesome video Dan 👍👍👍👍👍⚡⚡⚡⚡⛈
Note to self; don’t climb up on metal towers during a thunderstorm…😊! Have a great day! Thanks Dan for the footage and video.
Probably the best lightning footage I've seen in my life 😮
That's incredible footage man! I remember seeing my first storms in Oklahoma and Texas. They've got some of the most impressive lighting I've ever seen!
WOW. Cool
The angles closes their eyes
Really truly remarkable!
Adoro
Incredible stuff Dan
Lighting strikes the towers repeatedly! And the little red flashing lights in the towers just keep on flashing like nothing happened. 😎👍
If you look closely at the tops of tall towers, there's a metal cage around the uppermost beacon/strobe that protects it from lightning strikes.
@@thelightninghunter8607 That's awesome. My childhood home was next door to a house that had a lightning rod attached, this was back in the 1970s.
Incredible
Spectacular high speed footage. ❤
Spectactular catch, man!
Wow
😮
Thank you for the calm presentation. Magnificent. Can't believe how long it was in the ground.
I’m sitting next to a passing freight train to compare. Sounds nothing like one. In fact, more waterfall-like.
Bro who made zeus mad
Lovely
El Reno was a EF3. Not a EF5
My right ear is jealous
It was interesting seeing the front and back of the tornado criss-cross due to the relative transparency of the debris cloud, sort of like a cloud dance.
Absolutely outstanding! ❤
Do tornados seek to find a ground like lightning? Will tornado paths weaken over artificial ground, like an interstate highway?
Wow what amazing footage. Did you get any sound?
Glad you liked it! I also posted real-time videos with sound from the biggest 3.
Wow excellent video
Absolutely amazing footage. People who study and model tornado storm dynamic should be able to learn a lot from it. Thank you for the video and also for not distracting from it with loud voices.
That was really cool!! You are a sly chaser Dan;) Thank you for the vid!
like a carousel of vortices.
Other sources say it was an E-3.. idk
The beginning looked a lot like 5/9/2016
