Incredible upward lightning and loud thunder over St. Louis: in slow motion!
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Severe thunderstorms moved through the St. Louis metro area on Saturday evening, April 15, 2023, producing tornadoes and an incredible display of lightning. Multiple upward lightning flashes strike several tall towers in the city, some two, three and four at a time simultanously. A rare negative upward flash is captured striking a tower. Intense positive cloud-to-ground bolts produce loud sonic-booming thunder as well as trigger simultaneous upward lightning from the towers. Captured at 60fps and 1,500fps. A close strike to a tree is captured at 6,000fps. Copyright Dan Robinson

Beautiful light show indeed. Great video!
Amazing! Ty!
You finally got the elusive +GC (negative upward leader) flash! This is the first video that I've ever seen of a +GC posted by a storm chaser (where I can determine the polarity) after scouring the internet for such an event a few years ago. Fantastic case, great documentation with both of your cameras. The other -GCs were great too, along with their triggering +CGs that close to the towers. Great video.
Love your videos!
That was excellent! ⚡️
Belle vidéo !
Brilliant
So cool!! What camera is that 1500fps footage?
Absolutely stunning mate that lightning really was insane👌⚡️
So magnificent ! - I reside in Pennsylvania, but was tracking these storms and tornado warnings last night 04/15/23; I’d heard the lightning was super crazy and constant.
I enjoy watching a good lighting storm
Great timelapse to see how this energy is displaying its course.
What an amazing dance across the sky!
The lightning on Saturday night was incredible, probably some of the best I’d ever seen in the area. Great work documenting all the different types of lightning.
0:06 how beautiful 😍
While I enjoy this spectacular light show, while watching this my minds starts wondering 'how many gaga-bites of storage' needed to record this.
Mother Nature showing off.😂
