On Resonite, one guy of the dev team has a Muse 2 and showed what it could do with a gun, they were really trying to make things work, which made me want to get one too! Not sure what happened afterwards though :), been about 2 / 3 Months? It's really interesting, especially if you can really make it work!

I have a quest pro with a tundra tracker on the front and a Bobo vr battery on the back. I also use index controllers which is a big game changer

I bought DIY's from Occult and they are amazing! There is 100% a learning curve to get them right, and I'm still working on it, but the excellent full body made me feel so much more immersed, I am thrilled :) Won't go back!

i swear it’s some sort of lottery for which streaming software works good 😭😭😭 my quest 2 works fine with airlink but my quest pro only works well with VD (even at the exact same streaming resolution), and steam link is unusable on both even with hours of setup and testing.

Be careful not to sweat in your Quest Pro. Just a small bit of moisture can destroy the circuitry that powers the IR LEDs for the face tracking, causing them to go dim or out completely. This will brick the face tracking which also takes out the eye tracking too even if the eye tracking LEDs are working fine.

The Reverb is not worth $1K, at most its only $600, the tracking of the Valve Index is unbeatable and while the Reverb G2 has stellar resolution, it has lower refresh rate than the Index, lower fov, and the tracking unfortunately fails in comparison to the Lighthouses.

SlimeVR works on anything you can use Vive trackers on since it just emulates them in SteamVR

That normal than the whole community is mad, such cool product being stopped, yes i can build my own but i don't want to, or litteraly buy a new headset when i have one already, mine is really good but cost a lot and when the quest pro have the same features than mine and cost as much it hurt to pay the same price just for face tracking! That why modular part are amazing like face tracking just put it on your headset and done. if the software part is well made of course but still.

I'm not going back to any OLED Pentile headset. I can't stand black smear. Besides mura, persistance, low resolution perceived is clearly a downgrade compared to any fast switch LCD display. Blacks in CV1, Vive OG, Vive Pro, Quest 1... are pure crap cause black smearing.

The index in this case is the PC not the processor. So when others are a full build. Cpu gpu ram, ect yeah the more expensive options should he just a cpu. Your comparing a pre built to a single part. 😂

Honestly I dont mind. I love the clarity of pancake lenses and the much larger sweet spot over fresnel lenses (its basically all sweet spot). Do I wish the blacks were blacker and the colours popped a little more? Sure. But that clarity and sweet spot. Mmmmm. Thats where its at for me.
