If whiteness was a criteria for being European in the old days, I guess if I took a time machine back I would mistake a Jew, Phoenician, Iranian, Syrian, Heck even a Chechnian as a Pure blooded European.

  @@edwardsnowden8821 I lived in spain so I know what I am talking, you can see the map which represents the percentages of blond and red haired people .Nowadays Turks look like anatolian, they have only 10 percent of Mongolian turkish DNA , but of course Turks look so differently they are mixed , before they arrived in Anatolia they looked like Mongolians, nowadays some of them are white, but mostly they have more black skin . What you think which river was regarded by greeks as a border between Europe and Asia ?.   @@shalishali4461 Wrong on all counts, I've never seen a black Turk before but who am I to argue with the "expert". The ancestors of the Turks from Central Asia where a mixed bunch, showing variation from west to east Eurasian admixture, Check the Tarim basin mummies or look at pictures of Uighur turks from North Eastern China, as for Red hair those are also found amoung Turks in central Asia. In history Georgia was as European as Persia was European, Georgia has always shared a border with Asian powers who dominated Georgia by the way. Russia had to conquer the native Caucasian tribes to even share a border with present day Georgia and that's saying a lot seeing as Europeans sometimes don't even consider Russia European enough.

  Yusha Evans Absolutely not. Georgians were one of the first countries to adopt the Orthodox Christian faith. Various conquerors actually forcefully tried to convert the georgians into muslims (and other faiths too).

  giga gigaa 84% of Georgians are Orthodox Christian and only 10% are muslim. Those who are muslim live in the south west at the Turkish border, a region called ‘Ajara’. The rest of the 6% are either Catholic or Armenian Apostolic (which are both denominations of the Christian faith)

  @@gigagigaa9696 actually, to be accurate, 157% are muslims, they were muslims for millions of years, and not just all day long screaming allah akbar, but all night also, while sleeping. and you must see pregnant women, their babies are also already muslim and shouting allah akbar from there (but only 5 times a day, they are still too weak for shouting all day).

  Ohh I hate Europe with their fascist history, inefficient economy and overpriced market. I think Georgia is better off just dealing with them out of necessity and not integrating into this expired part of the world. I bet my money on China, Middle East even, Africa but Europe is a dead end with no prospect for bright future. Its a cancer for Georgia that we can not seam to be able to rid ourselves off. I mean who wants less quantity that has a much lesser quality for much higher price? Not Georgia but thats exactly what Europe has to offer. Europe is a taker not a giver. We were much better off as part of USSR and USSR was super evil but Today's EU is double that. We don't need European "investment" we need Chinese and Russian and Middle Eastern investment. If joining the EU was of any benefit UK would not have Brexited. Take a look at Hungary for example. They are begging the EU not let migrants into their Nation. Clearly they have no sovereignty and their economy is in shambles. What is attractive in that? I mean do we want to be dependent on Racist German judges and hateful French politicians to do right by Georgia? Its not going to happen. We want real independence from Russia from EU from USA from Iran from China from everybody. We want to be independent. Respect our choice. Independence does not mean isolation. It means lets reciprocate on trade on military on everything. The way things are right now its not reciprocated its a creeping annexation of Georgia by economic means and total collapse of our sovereignty. Its terrible.
