    One day I'll get a Yeti (the rescue red ones are sick!) but I own both the Milwaukee coolers. (16 QT and 40 QT) both of these coolers are beasts. I've had the 16 QT for about 8 months and its been great to me. (I got it during the holidays during buy more save more but I dont remember what the savings were back then) I just recently got the 40 QT Milwaukee because it is down to $199 and also a part of the current "BUY MORE SAVE MORE" at Home Depot where if you spend $180, you save $30 (only on the website/online- in store you get an organizer for a dollar that retails for around $30) so I ended up paying $169 plus taxes for my 40 QT cooler! I think it was a crazy deal! I'm more excited that I can stack the smaller one on top of the 40 QT and maybe even use a few more packout boxes to store items for beach trips! Great video dude!

    Keep in mind the milwuakee is at a slight disadvantage. There is a larger volume of air to intitally cool amd keep cool due to the yetti being more comapact and fuller with the same amount of ice, which also helps the yetti retain its cool temputure with the ice being held together closer. A better test IMO would be to fill them to matching internal volumes, and measuring the amount of water per day to truly see who was melting faster.

    Grab the thumb trigger and the knurled hose female and unscrew the back of the trigger where the spring sits. Once that's off you can slide the female section out and you'll see 3 O rings. Hit that with some silicone spring and put it back together

    This is not an attack but, Why would u inject co2 into a refrigerant circuit? It's a non condensible. That txv is going to hunt. You just contaminated and pretty much ruined the refrigerant charge. Nothing but refrigerant should ever be injected into the circuit. Please, only Use refrigerant from the liquid line to push it through or new refrigerant since u need to charge it any way.

  • @WorldofHVAC

    Why didn't you tell them that you needed to clean the entire thing when you had it disassembled? Now they are going to have more problems in the future and have to pay more money for you to disassemble it again, wasting both your time and the customer's time when it all could have been done at once.

  • @WorldofHVAC
    @WorldofHVAC5 күн бұрын

    I cant make people spend money they don't want to. They had the option but they just wanted it to work. Would you have walked away if the repair wasn't what you wanted to do?

  • @luke50469
    @luke504695 күн бұрын

    @WorldofHVAC the price I give is to clean the entire thing that way you know they are well taken care of. I would hate to have them complain next time when the rest of the machine needs to be cleaned and they want to know why it wasn't done to begin with. I just know how people can be. You definitely did a good job but I like to explain to the customer that it's preventative

  • @WorldofHVAC
    @WorldofHVAC5 күн бұрын

    @luke50469 They had both options. Fix the problem they called about or take care if everything that was found. They wanted the cheaper option since its a room for dogs. It's all noted on the paperwork so they can't say I didn't offer a complete repair

    Every six months I hook the shop vac to the outside line, then remove the float & pour hot water into the line. It pulls out the slime that builds up in all SW FL AC lines. When done I unhook the vac, then pour more water into the line, then check the outside line to see it flowing freely.

    Mini split drains are the worse thing ever. What no one has enforced a better connection is stupid. They want you to use flex hose corrugated that clogs easy. That tee is to prevent air trap which happens all the time. If you install one by code on inner wall good luck. Insulated 3/4 pvc to mini split drain require hose clamp and a prayer. Best to condensate pump it but then every run cycle sounds like a train leaving the station as it pumps.
