Return to happier days, when Washington’s football team was proudly called the Redskins, and relive the good times with these homemade highlights remastered from my pile of VHS tapes and a yard-sale video cassette player that (unlike some teams) never gives up.

Neil lomax was low key pretty tough
Moss always cooked the cowboys 😂😂😂
Darrell Green was something else... Just pure speed and heart.
No hard feelings, the Redskins were simply the better team that year. As difficult as this game was for Los Angeles, I was extremely proud of how far the Rams had come in 1983. After the disastrous ‘82 season, John Robinson got the team back on track, got in the team in the playoffs where they upset the Cowboys in Dallas.
The Miami Boyz pulled off something special in this game!
With all the talent the Cards had.... They didn't have a great coach....
Santana Moss was a monster in college at Miami and was a monster with the Skins. One of my favorite Washington players to watch over the years.
Bengals and rams lost still hurt to this day . Offense fell apart in such a cringe way
Seems like it became a faster game in the 80s. This was an intense matchup. Saints were for real. Great unis the Saints have here.
Damn Kysheon Jarrett...shame buddy
That pick six was legendary I can vividly remember my Sunday afternoon suddenly turned GREAT! I was pumped
Jim Zorn actually got MORE potential out of Jason Campbell than any other coach.
Leslie Shepard was low key nice 👍🏾
Magnum T.A.🔥🔥
Rg3 was sooo damn erratic
Ah, the good ol' days....
I remember just like it was yesterday RIP #ST #httr #httc💯♟️
As a Dallas fan I sure miss the old Redskins uniforms and that great logo.
Would you happen to have the full game recorded? I’ve been searching for it recently, but can’t find anything so far
Josh Morgan played like a stud and I didn't even remember him. A shame he couldn't maintain that level of play.
Only 4 playoff games at fedex field is crazy 😢
What I find really funny is that the eagles never allow opposing fans in their stadium but I swear there were a ton of redskins fans there in Philly than i thought
Sigh....it's tough to see the stadium so full and with the classic logo. Hopefully this new regime with Jayden can bring some life back to it all.
Love those old school uniforms
Man, I remember crying tears of joy at the end of this one.
Alfred Morris could've gone on to be a Hall of Fame RB had Jay Gruden not taken away his carries for literally no reason.
This is insane and makes me feel so old. Redskins: 82, 89, 59, 10, 91 all coaches or media personalities now Eagles: 25, 59, 10, and probably more I don’t know off hand are all media members or coaches now. This wasn’t even THAT long ago.
When Theismann was on honestly, my opinion, there was nobody better and yes, I am a Redskin fan, but I’m not throwing shade our way. I’m old enough to appreciate the glory days. I’ve been a fan from birth. Tell death yes for the last 20 to 23 years they’ve been horrible, but if anybody knows anything you can thank Mr. Snyder for that, he knows he did wrong. Why do you think he lives in London now because every Redskin fan wants his nuts on the shelf he destroyed one the most colorful franchises in NFL history not only was he a horrible owner. He is just a very bad person. He does bad things and he thinks that he is above everybody even feeling entitled I’m guessing. At first when he bought the team and then we got the stadium. It seemed everything was in place to keep on going after old man passed away, but I can say for the first time since Mr. Cook left us. I feel that we have the right people where they should be we have football people where football people should be, not a bunch of men anyway Theismann in his prime was a fucking awesome quarterback and just take a look at RFK not a better place in the league to play a game
Man I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you for these videos
You just did!
Season on the line, almost blow the game. It's the Washington way. I'm 32, been a fan all my life, and have only seen them win a handful of games comfortably. The rest of the games have been heart attacks or losses.
Or embarrassing MASSIVE Ls 😅
lmfaooo this is hilarious, same roller coaster every year
When you look at how bad the roster was for this team, I would say it was Mike Shanahan's finest coaching job.
He and Kyle got a sprinter pretending to be a quarterback, a 6th round running back, a receiving core that was without a number 1 option for half the year, and a mid tier defense at best to a 10-6 record. He honestly should have won coach of the year in my book.
@raymondsmith2040 Damn the disrespect for Robert is wild. I understand his career turn out like expected but his rookie year was very impactful. I don't know many sprinters that can throw for 3200, 20 tds with 5 picks. With missing 2 games in NFL.Along with Kyle helped bring the read option so well to league that it's still used today
@toryou6 I never said he wasn't or the season wasn't impactful. Was Robert a great athlete and could he throw the ball? Of course! Anybody with eyes could see that. But the fact that the only time he was successful was in that offense proves my point. It takes more than physical talent to play QB. It's the hardest position in sports for a reason. Robert had QB athleticism but not a QB mind or intangibles. That's why I said what I said.
He pretty much had the same roster 2 years prior to 2012. Managing 5 and 6 wins. Wonder why he improved so much in 2012?
@toryou6 he only managed 3 and 4 wins and that's because he openly said he didn't want to run the offense that made him successful in 2012. Are you a true fan of this team? You should know this by now.
Disappointing season just like 06😞
brilliant vid. only nitpick - announcer is thom brennaman not burkhardt
Correction made! Never sure anyone does the reading.
I just recently discovered this channel and I greatly appreciated what you do! My dad was a massive Redskins fan (I'm a Dallas fan, please don't hold that against me lol) and he passed away last year, but he would have absolutely loved this channel. Keep up the great work!!
You should get Redskins-Eagles in 2015
We will if the copyright gods permit
Whew Walter Bubby Brister era ! Highs and lows post Bradshaw and Malone...defense still amazing
Do you have any 2018 games by any chance?
Of course, but YT doesn’t always allow them to be used.
Going from a Native symbol (Redskins) to a patriotic symbol (Commanders) is ass backwards.
The main problem is that Commanders is just an F-tier name. It's so boring and generic. Less people would be upset if they went with something cool like Warthogs, Redwolves, or Warriors.
Should have went with the Redwolves, Warriors, or Admirals
Warriors or Redhawks.
I suggested Generals as a play-on wording of General Washington. Something at least clever.
@@raymondsmith2040 still patriotic. Which makes no sense due to the old name representing a Native.
It will always be Redskins you can’t remove history
Redskins Say their name
REDSKINS!!!
Thank you for all your highlights of my Beloved REDSKINS!!!! And yes, it will Always be the Washington REDSKINS!!!!! To hell with those whom have never experienced and lived the special bond REAL Washington fans had as a REDSKINS FAN!!!! HTTR 4 EVER!!!!!!!
RIP ST21
I went to this game with my Dad! Happy Fathers Day, Pop!
We had a thing for signing old jet players. Lol
Noll should’ve went for it on 4th down instead of kicking a field goal to go up, 29-20. Young team, on the road versus the champs and need less than a yard. House money at that point of the game.
half of the plays wouldve been roughing the passer or unnecessary roghness in todays football ..miss the good all days
I couldn't believe how mf unprofessional and sorry the browns players were corny childish players
Love my skins
