  Was here for the beta and I can say the game got issues but leffen here is just complaining about anything like ”sound mixing" which is good btw and the slower gameplay is better since beta was spam fest and dodge fest now you have to be more cautious about what you do which is fine

  Weird to say “monetization hell” when the game is free? You can earn characters through playing the game, daily logins, leveling characters up, events, and im assuming even more ways coming soon. Would you rather pay $60 for the game and get the base characters? I personally rather play for free and unlock the characters i want as time goes on. It’s been a week and i already have 9k fighter currency🤷🏽‍♂️ now the skins are expensive asf so thats kinda an L but the game is free.. they have to make money somewhere

  Fortnite for example is free also but you get to play most of the game without paying a dime and only pay for optional skins. There are also other free to play games that don't have different fake currencies and bullshit in them. Melee is free on PC and not only does it feel way better, play way better and have an actual community but it also doesn't have a bunch of monetization systems Brawlhalla is also free to play and has a similar monetization system to league of legends and Fortnite where you buy champions and can buy skins, ko effects and all that without having to have pay to win bullshit and other slop like multiversus

  The first two days I didn’t like it, but I will it’s growing on me all they have to do is up the by 1.5 , revert the perk system and put damage back in I’ve been using the new defensive mechanics and I came from tekken so I like punishing unsafe moves that’s where it seems like they pushing towards now it’s not by far a finished product but I do have faith think we should give them some time to cook

  The gameplay genuinely looks slowed down. Why they would make a slow game even slower is a mystery to me. Even with the awful monetization garbage, I can’t imagine ever wanting to play this.

  I actually like the speed, because now you can actually pull combos on people and not be a spam doge zoom through the whole map bs. And when you watch KZreadrs pulls combos you can actually understand whats happening

  THIS GAME IS VERY, VERY GRINDY......... but is a a good grindy....... I guess it doesn't feel too long, it doesn't feel pay2win, it feels kinda like fortinite even though I never played fortinite but it still has too many currency types and I much prefered the basic:'' one currency for free stuff and the other currency for paid stuff'' system but that is just a nitpick
