Azir or Zed would both fill the role very well, though I think Zed would be more stylish. However, there's a lot of really good Ionia characters for this game, so I agree Azir would be a bit cooler.

As an avid league/smash player, listening to you talk about Project L is just a collision of worlds I cannot contain my hype for. So excited.

I think Camille would work really well for this personally. Also lee sin could definitely have some interesting gameplay if they added him.

Camille could be like Vega in my mind, but obviously adjusted for a tag fighter since SF is a lot more stiff.

Lee sin is pretty guaranteed given his popularity as a character

Thresh is my #1 pick, he was my favorite champion and I think he’d have a real cool kit

If I'm not mistaken, one of the Canon Brothers said in the Project L - After Hours stream (which u can find on KZread) that they plan to support Project L for 10+ years. So if true, I'd imagine we'd get tons of characters from League. The only thing I worry about is would it be quality over quantity, or the other way around. I dont know how they'd do it, but I'm sure they'll do as best as they can.

I think a good pick for project L whould be shen they could have a cool mechanic with his sword

I hope Jhin will be added, he used a knife in the lore so he can be a zoner with his projectiles and assassin like close range with some magic spells blended in the move set.

I really hope, and expect, this game to be massive. Free to play, looks great so early on, can use League’s massive audience, etc. I really hope it capitalizes on all its potential.

Orianna being brought in as a Bridget clone from GGXX#R is the dream.

New games always seem visually cluttered, but it seems that most people learn to tune out and parse everything after the first month or so

I'd like to see Riven, Lucian, Zed and Yasuo in this game. As long as they can make Lucian interesting with crazy animation-cancels and combos, not just a pew-pew zoner. P.S: And Katarina, most of all, but she was leaked a while back, so I imagine she'll make it in the game.

I can tell you I've played league which is on their network and on east coast I normally have about 35 ping in games. While west coast is more like 50

I want Jhin in the game but he would most likely be that kind of zoner everyone hates to play against

I think Bursts should recharge faster, but baiting could lead to happy birthdays. Would make having a burst more reliable, but carelessly using a burst more dargerous. Looking at the game gives me BlazBlue vibes in that there are very unique characters and it's more open than guilty gear.

On the topic of the fighting game life cycle, the thing that bothers me the most is the idea that you can wait years for your main to finally be in a fighting game, and then it's the last season of that game, the game dies, and then you move onto a new fighting game that doesn't have your main in it again. Sure, the people who like the popular/main characters will always avoid this problem, but I don't wanna see Q in season 5 of Street Fighter 6, get to play him for a year after waiting so long, and then have Street Fighter 7 come out and start waiting all over again for him to maybe not even make the cut as DLC. I kind of like the long-term support cycle for a single game more, especially with games that have stylized graphics that aren't subject to looking dated over time (not that looking dated ever held games like League back in the first place).

Vi, Poppy, and Gangplank are on my wishlist. Gangplank with barrels being a set up character could be really cool

I know that this from what a lot have said seems like not a begginer freindly game into fighting games. But I really love league characters growing up with them but have over the years fallen out of love for league, and this game has just recaptured my excitement for the characters and I am really excited over the idea of jumping into a new genre even if I am a noob.

Yone, Master Yi, Akali, Shen, Zed, Kennen, Pantheon, Jax, Nasus, Riven, VI, Sett, Irelia, Poppy, Evelynn, Kindred, Amumu, Rengar, Warwick, Talon, Sylas, Pyke are my favs^^

My character predictions for release: Darius Ekko Ahri Jinx Illaoi Cho Gath Yasuo Sett Riven Jhin Thresh Sylas Samira Pyke Or they could just be teasing all the champs with the soul fighter event lol

@@brokentempest4268 kat is the poster girl so it would make sense. There's probably about 20 characters that make sense, so I tried to pick ones that might fill out a variety roster. I think yasuo and riven are basically guaranteed. If they want to add a void champ I think cho fits best, can't really see kog or reksai. I think any of the ninjas would work but they will probably only pick one.

@@zeronothinghere9334 popularity wise yes, but if you look at all the *older official art and stuff it's always kata and not lux Edit: I checked out and newer art does feature lux and ahri a lot more, so you're actually right as of late. I have been playing league for too damn long, my impressions are out of date lol

I’m the odd one out on this but I would love to see how Riot implements champions that most people think they won’t fit in the game, or in other words supports/healer/enchanter. Yes they are healers in League, but we know they can fight/ have offensive abilities I would love to see Sona in the game, girly cuts and snap people bones with sound waves and people think she only heals Or Janna using something like Blazblue Rachel’s wind mechanic to move around would be nice too

How long until we see strive dlc tier shit like Yuumi.

Yasuo has been revealed by riot & there is also leaked gameplay of both Jinx and Illoi on youtube, so that brings the confirmed roster up to 6/14... the only other absolute "no brainer" picks would be Sett, Vi & Lee Sin, but i have a feeling perhaps they are too obvious so they may avoid it for launch

I think Kha'shix would be a cool archetype to have since it's like a humanoid praying mantis. The female cyborg with bladed legs and grapple would make for awesome gameplay like grappling on to walls and such. Nema I think it's her name she's a water species with a staff but they can have a water orb around her and one of the archers would be cool if they put them in.

It would be interesting to see more support orientated champions in the game, but it might feel bad to have them as the main character. Its Nami BTW Personally, as a huge LOL fan, there are a tooon of champions I want to see in the game. Most interesting could be Orianna with puppeting her ball around, Katarina dashing to knives you leave on the floor, and any Yordle character because they'd have to be super short. As for monster champion's, Rek'sai and Bel'veth are easy fit but not very popular. Kha'zix and Thresh are more popular and would be interesting for sure. AAtrox and Riven could be MAZING but might feel a bit similar to play.

@@yosayoran1 yes thank you for reminding me her name Nami. Oriana yes, is the other female cyborg I'm interested in but they would have to utilize her orbs differently than Ari. Katarina is already confirmed btw, there's footage of her fighting Darius with her red hair and dual blades doing flips and teleports. One of the fuzzy characters I would like them to put it is Gnar because he has an install, granted it would be 2 different size hitbox but would be interesting. If they add the female Dante character would be awesome and one of the mountain size characters and just make them the same dimensions as Abigail from sfv would be awesome.

When he recommended strive characters to play to prepare for project L, wouldn’t Millia be great because she is so movement heavy?

just a quick question - my left stick has some terrible controller drift. Is Project L playable without the left analog stick (like say, using the D-pad for movement and directional inputs instead?)

To the point on new players playing with better friends who teach them. I’m not seeing how that works or feels good from a match making perspective? Would have rather seen a mode where you enter queue in group voice comms. Player 1 plays a match that impacts their own rank. Player 2 enters a match that enters their rank. And it cycles. Mimic the feeling of swapping spots at an arcade cabinet or passing the controller digitally. Without that corny “3D arcade stuff” every game has that never works.
