I'm getting a half sleeve, and after 3-4 aspects I want, I've given my artist full control on how to assemble and bring it together. She and I both are having a very fun experience. Much more laid back and enjoyable. Let them do their job.

I almost passed out getting my leg shaved but then I was fine for the tattoo it was my first real tattoo freaked myself out I guess

Here's the thing: someone sees a cool tattoo on reddit or Google or whatever, and they want that same thing, they're not gonna fly clear across country to get it done by them, and that's even if they could find out who did it. I mean, most of us can barely afford the tattoo itself let alone a plane ticket hotel all that stuff, they're gonna find someone local who can do it. That, and I kind of hate the apprise of some tattoo artists. I know what I want and want it to look like. Your job is to make my vision come to life, not yours. I'm the one who has to live with this on me forever. If I go to someone and tell them what I want, and they go "oh that's not gonna look good or that's not how I think you should do that, we could change it this way" I'll walk out and find someone else. Because if you change what I'm picturing in my head, I'm not gonna be happy with the outcome.

I don't judge others for having idols, but celebrity worship isn't for me. The entertainment industry is rife with abuse and exploitation, and you never know who'll be next to find themselves mired in sex scandals and other controversy. At least one person out there has a Kevin Spacey tattoo they're bitterly regretting now that he's been exposed as sexually abusing young boys, for example. The fact is that most celebrities are deeply flawed individuals with a lot of skeletons in their closets. Their public personas are carefully-constructed PR creations. A lot of them are monsters in real life.

Wow. Around 1 and 5 people here in the UK are inked - and that includes the demographics who almost never get tattoos. The white British working classes are probably the most inked people in world aside from the Polynesian cultures. It's just normal here. 😂

I have a full-sleeve tattoo. Wrist to shoulder and under my armpit after having a whole sleeve done wrong. I love my blackout sleeve. I have finally healed through my bad tattoo with my blackout.

Yeah these are artist with egos that's all there are some good tattoos artist that blow the next out the water you would think they would be humble that they are changing a person life. People take tattoos different some think it's just ehh whatever to be cool or whatever. Others however like myself see tattooing as a way of life as do some cultures take it as a way of life. Some people have fears like we all do but tattoos artist should learn in tattooing school about being humble. You can have a little ego but if your one of those artist that thinks you are better because you are a tattoo artist and think your worth 800$ for for a outline and shit depending on size I understand but some artist charge crazy in the price.

Its fascinating to me that almost every tattoo artist i have ever interacted with is a complete douche bag with an ego the size of texas. Mother fuckers sketch cartoons out for a living and put them on some dumbassses skin. I can appreciate high quality work but the dickheads in the industry make it nearly impossible... Also does anyone find it creepy with tattoos tht you are allowing another man to basically doodle on your skin???? Like you are paying a man to draw on you... Thats like the ultimate form of narcissism. Might as well elt them sign their name underneath the tattoo when they r done so they own you.
