'After I Get A Tattoo, I Come Out Feeling Stronger' Paul Wall | Heavily Inked
Texas was not the most accepting place to have tattoos while Paul Wall was growing up. For a large majority of his life he solely got work that could be hidden under the sleeves of a shirt. As time went on, however, his status as a prominent figure in southern hip hop allowed him to fully express himself how he wanted. He discusses growing up in Texas, working in the hip hop scene and more in this episode of Heavily Inked.

Freaking love Paul Wall! Grew up in south Texas listening to him
Paul Wall is awesome on and off the stage. God bless
very inspirational! honestly, very rare nowadays with the genuine connection with character or being so laidback about tattoos when some of us grew up in that time as well and became more secretive or reserved cus of that.
Haven’t even watched the whole video and hands down…this is your best one! I love me some Paul Wall, baby!
Paul Wall a living legend.
Bro. This made feel old as shit. I remember his mixtapes….. on cassette….. rewinding with a pencil. More karats than Bugs Bunny
Paul Wall baby, mentality is so on point
Damn I didn’t even read the title. I clicked cause I already knew who’s mouth that was 😂😅
Paul Wall, the peoples champ🏆
I love this series so much. No matter who is speaking, their background, the kind of tattoos they have or how they got them or how they view them, I always find something I find beautiful and profound in the way they describe their relationship to tattoos.
Such a genuine dude. Keep being you.
People’s champ! 🙏
Paul wall is awesome
Love Paul Wall, I’m glad he is representing Texas and tattoos.

When I turned 14 my best friend got full dentures wen we went on summer break. I knew wen I saw him taking his teeth n & out & just flip n them around, playing with them,I somehow someway would have mine b4 I was a senior .Then his Dad let him get his 1st tattoo b4 school started that fall,& his tat was of a set of Dentures on his forearm, they were done so well they looked like u could pic them up & put them in. I got the belt to my ass, but his tat dude gave me a set of dentures tattooed on my R upper shoulder, then the next summer break I got full Dentures & we are bro.s to this day
