She is a woman that found power during a time where women did not have power. Or rights and I think that her advice for women during its time was extremely powerful because women weren't regarded as equals to men. So if they seem sexist in this day and age, it's because thankfully we've come a long way not all the way but we've come a long way. It makes me happy to envision what this type of energy would've felt like two others during a time where women were not thought of as equals.

That's the difference between zsa zsa and most of the women these days...powerful but still love men.. unlike today where they do come across sexist.. and I don't think women have come a long way really because they have lost something on that journey.. the ingredient called class.

@@paulgentile1024 hahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahaha you're so lost it's hilarious - i hope you had a conversation with her in person- how the hell do you know how she felt about all men? This woman clearly used those men to get what she wanted in life. If you want class from the women around you, YOU have to exude class. Not pretend to be rich or fancy, but actual true class- which I do not believe *you* can tell apart from sex appeal.

As far as I see things, we women are not equal to mere males. We have perfect XX chromoses, we are complete, we create life out of our bodies, we are smaller, smarter, more nimble, unpredictable and therefore more malleable, creative and flexible...and so much more. No we are not equal to males. We are superior and they know it too. I prefer to say that we are complimentary and more superior than the XY chromosome males with a broken X chromosome which makes then incomplete and obsessed with us and our bodies, where they came out of and suckled on our breasts for the first few months of their lives. We women are creators. We are human Goddesses ❤️

Two things I would love to hear from you if you care to accept this mission ;) The first one is a grammar-nazi peeve of mine, that you look up how things are pronounced (rule of thumb is: A=Ah not Aye). The second request is to teach us more about other glamorous historical It girls. The most famous movie singer in old Shanghai, the most famous Parisienne from the early days of cinema. Women that were famous to millions but not to our Anglo-European driven press. Before WWII so many German speaking women were famous in the distinctive German cinema, and then there's Iranian cinema vixens and of course Bollywood and Nollywood. Who are these fab women that I've never heard about? please lead us on an adventure, this is only a small project request that lasts decades lol

I found your channel this afternoon and I’m still on it at almost 1 o’clock in the morning. However I do have a little bags of my you know what, about Zsa Zsa Gabor. I knew her and that’s not how to pronounce her name. Phonetically instead of Za Za it’s Schazah. I hope people on put hateful comments below but I thought you should know because I am old enough to be a grandma and just trying to be helpful. I wish I had time to put comments below your amazing videos because being the age I am I wish I had the opportunity to contribute to them. Keep it up sister! I love that someone as young as you loves old films and enjoys doing deep dives into them. ❤❤❤

I've been a fan of Zsa Zsa Gabor since I was little. Whenever I would see her in an old movie, I would just be in awe of her. I always thought she was just so beautiful and glamorous. But, yes, I do agree that you need to be a bit of a mystery to others. And I also agree that it's best to not keep curlers in your hair, or wear my bonnet all day if I am at home. Call me old fashioned if you want to, but my grandmother had a big hand in raising me and these are things she would always tell me --- and she lived by them. Even on the weekends when she was not working, she would get up and do her hair and makeup, and she never wore pants outside of the house. My grandfather seemed to adore her. That was the era she came from. She taught me to always go outside looking my best because, "You never know when you're going to meet your Prince Charming". Lol. My kids always ask me why I bother putting on makeup and getting dressed on days we aren't even leaving the house, and I tell them that's just how I was raised. I can't help it. Honestly, part of me does it for my husband, and he has said he appreciates it. Some may see this as a sexist point of view, and don't get me wrong-- if I am really sick, I don't do all of that and he definitely would not expect that of me. But mostly, I do it for myself. Even if he wasn't around, I would still do it. It gives me confidence and that extra boost I need to get things done, believe it or not. And it is one of those rituals that keeps me feeling close to my dearly departed grandmother.

Zsa Zsa had the same experience with Conrad Hilton as Elizabeth Taylor. They both found they made a mistake right away, Conrad was disgusting they would say.

I love jer voice as Duchess in Disney's Aristocrats. My aunts and mom all had loud boisterous voices and way of speaking and I was more attracted to the soft purr feminine voice.

I just discovered your channel this weekend. I absolutely love the detail, pictures and obscure information contained in these videos. You can tell the amount of research and time you invested in these wonderful trips down memory lane for some of us. Please remember to learn the correct pronunciation of the entertainers. The phonetics are hard to type here because the letters needed are from the International Phonetic Alphabet. You can always google the name. For those of us who grew us during the heyday of the Gabor sisters, Zsa Zsa was definitely a character!!
