G5 had an independent looper, it wasnt affected by patch change. Zoom G5n which i use now when you change patch then looper stops since looper is part of the patch. A very crappy way of looping

hi, just want to known how to change patch / different sound while looper is playing. whenever i change patch like from clean to distortion, the played loop song sound is changed also. is there any way to do it?

Hey dude, by placing the looper before the effects, the sound of a looped performance can be altered to craft the sound without continuing to play. See manual page 70! Cheers Mario
