I like the silver, it's subtle. You baffled the cowl because it was Sunday - LOL. I've done superfluous things "just because" too. Nice installation. I like things to be neat also. I use zip ties and wire number markers to preserve order. Maybe you don't have to change a receiver very often but when you do it's a godsend. I didn't think your FrSky talk was promotional. I'm a Spektrum user but I still found it interesting. I passed it to a buddy contemplatiing moving from Spektrum.

What battery packs are you using for the receiver? Really like your choice of silver for your panel line tape, black doesn't look quite right over silver... stands out too much very well done Andy.

Nice looking Bearcat. The vid cut off at the FrSky comments, but to be honest I would like more information on FrSky. I was a partner in a Hobby shop back in the day, and I bought a JR 347 when I took a job that could support my young family and sold out to my retired partner. With your comments in an earlier video, I have looked at the module for the JR radio and I like what I have seen. I can take my JR 347 and update it for less than a new radio. I believe we are like minded, and my question for you, what receiver would I buy from FrSky or whomever, to allow me to use my old JR 347 with my 4 sport planes? I would love to see you make a video, just about that as a topic. Plus, it would be great to hear your thoughts about which servos to pair with the FrSky module and whatever receiver you would recommend. As I get back into the hobby and have been trying to do my research, the lack of magazines is a sorrowful thing today. Trying to ask questions in forums has been painful, as others tend to hijack the question in the forum, or feel they need to beat you up with opinions. Well, I would love to hear your opinion with using FrSky to get back in the air. Thanks for your consideration and time, a guy getting back onto flying, scratch building, just someone that could use a little help for what to spend for a radio.

@@warbirdflyerF4U haven't balanced a plane in over 20 years! I get them to where it feels right and go fly......then make adjustments if needed. If a plane is uncontrollably out of balance then building and setup skills need to be sharpened. I would assume Nick's cg on the planes is a good starting point

Damn nice job andy!! A buddy of mine just turned me on to the Pro Modeler servos for my 1/3 scale christen eagle. How do you like them, because you can’t beat the prices. Are you running 270’s on all the control surfaces?
