If it were up to me, I’d cut all aid to Africa, bring all the white farmers back to Europe, and massively cut the welfare program. @@caller347 "Zimbabwe is a perfect representation of the incompetence of your race." It didn't take long for you to expose your Nazism. "Slaughter all the White farmers." First off, there was no grand slaughter of White farmers, you lying shit, the majority left with the end of White Supremacist rule, and the expropriation of the il gotten gains the colonists' ade against the native peoples. Without the ability to retain their privileges and take advantage of the welfare state, which allowed the colonists their privileged position in the settler-colony of Rhodesia. The dismantling of this accompanied by competition with Native Black workers who now had access to higher-paying jobs and social equality prompted many to leave of their own accord. The Zimbabwean government sought to redress systemic inequality created by the settler exploitation the end result was expropriation of the land stolen by the settlers. (web.archive.org/web/20070615023739/www.zwnews.com/3-Main%20Body.pdf) "go through a massive food shortage which then leads to begging the white farmers to come back." Actually, if you did prerequisite research you would know that the economic issues of Zimbabwe came strapped as a result of the country being constructed as an exploitative settler-economy. The 1980s-1990s saw Zimbabwe's economy flourish the issue which caused its deterioration wasn't Native Black Africans having majority rule but involvement in the Second Congo War and a drought which struck the country hard and made it difficult to recover. (www.dallasfed.org/~/media/documents/institute/annual/2011/annual11b.pdf) "Rhodesian, was an extraordinary example of an African nation. And now it’s reduced to a steaming pile of crap." China for the Chinese, Russia for the Russians, Germany for the Germans and Zimbabwe for Zimbabweans, period. You never see native Africans being the rich elite that control the nation's resources in any country in Asia or Europe, the natives of those countries would never allow it, yet that is the situation you see in African nations like present day South Africa and Zimbabwe back in the day when this footage was recorded. In China you cant even register a company as a foreigner without a local partner, let alone make it to the status of being part of the elite upper class that control the country's natural resources and live a lifestyle that 95% of the locals cant even dream of. President Mugabe was far from perfect, granted, but the one thing that he was unwaveringly sure of was that Africa is for Africans and Zimbabwe ( Not Rhodysia or whatever) is for Zimbabweans. Imagine we are called racists for wanting full ownership and control of our country, what nonsense! Being second class citizens in ZIMBABWE simply isnt an option, whatever the cost. Those who feel differently can feel free to leave, and many have left alright.

It is one billion... Back in this day it was acceptable because currencies like the pound sterling were so strong the average person had no concept of a billion. It is like The Americans saying twelve hundred dollars instead of saying one thousand two hundred. Both are mathematically correct.

You never know what you get. Mandela was called a terrorist but Mugabe wasn't. Mugabe sounded like a reasonable man till the mid 80s but his true fangs came out in the clear later. Zimbabwe needed a statesman and a true visionary like Mandela, but they got this buffoon Mugabe. Even with Mandela, you see that after his presidency, South Africa has gone to the dogs. It is upon the people to make sure that they keep the principles of such great leaders alive, and that they reject buffoons like Mugabe.

Mugabe lost it by declaring a one party state and attempting to exterminate his fellow Ndebele countrymen who equally fought battles and sacrificed their lives against colonialism and when it was independence time he decided they didn't deserve to enjoy the fruits of their labour with their families, that genocide which spilled blood of 1000s of innocent unarmed civilians through tribal hatred has haunted zim but they refuse to accept that reality, Mugabe's govt has been one of the worst in Africa failing to just manage what they received at least that would have been a great achievement, but the corruption and bad governance without check has left what was once a prosperous country without local currency, water, electricity, unity - you name it,why he continued to fight for power after years of incompetence makes one wonder if he played dum or was really dum, as it is his zanu lieutenants took over from him and continue punishing the masses with half baked recovery attempts which dont work coz their hearts ain't in it shown by accrued mansions and sports cars worth fortunes in locals faces betraying the majority and exposing the politicians selfishness and greed...how can a minister fail to have a conscience driving a $500 000 sports car whilst companies have been folding down creating more unemployment after failing to obtain less than $100 000 to continue operations? Diamond revenues and all national resources they are custodians of the reserve bank was complaining of not getting revenue yet those are the assets to ensure the economy stays well oiled and functional with minimal effort, what shameless looters behaving like they know its a stollen leadership and they are looting all they can before the real zim people show up..imagine the zanu group plunders the economy to an extent they themselves start feeling the heat from the decay they have created, what type of leaders are these who rather crush the economy as long as they get fat? Why not farm the land they shared with zanu family and friends in the numbers and help the country recover?Which books are they reading that have miseducated them like this? The worst betrayal to themselves is zim people who witness the mayhem and pillaging of zanu but still be clapping and dancing for them like idiots whilst themselves suffer from unemployment and poverty through a crushed economy, i wonder whose more to blame - the politicians or the supporters of the corrupt zanu politicians. ..

Really there is no reason for abusive language use. I have come across some knowledge which has given me the understanding that, nations have to here onwards brace themselves for shocks. With that I mean shocking decisions from those in governance. There simply won't be any logical way to explain the madness of those leading the nations. But for those who easily accept they will understand why and All things! So you may point at Mugabe, but your leaders also will have folly. They have drunk already and so they are drunk. Let those with understanding understand. Watch carefully!

@@enockmambinge4364 Wrong. Robert Mugabe confiscated the whites' farm and gave it to the ZANU party. If Mugabe wanted to do some charity for the people, he would have allowed the white people to go about their business, as what he did was bankrupt an ENTIRE COUNTRY, including the Hyperinflation that practically eroded the value of the currency and the purchasing power of the population, apart from the corruption that drastically increased during his government. To support and praise the Mugabe government is to be as genocidal as the government itself was.
