Long live the spirit of Baba Nkomo long live
This is wild that yall drop this 4 decades later!
I dream of a Zimbabwe where we are all united in humanity and in prosperity
Joshua Nkomo was already eloquent, educated and Wise by 1979.Genius this father was, he already knew the importance of Zimbabwean land and it's mineral resources.
Mugabe was selfish otherwise if he could incorporate Nkomo in is government Zimbabwe could have been better but he chose to prosecute the Matabele

Mugabe wanted revenge on the matabele for all the raids and slavery thrust upon the shona by them in the 19th centuary and earlier. He only achieved this cos the shona outnumber the matabele in zimbabwe now.

There's no languages called shona and ndebele, please stop this thing of saying shonas did this and that to the ndebele. There was an internal breakdown within the military, the government of Mugabe reacted to that with the Gukurahunde

Operation Elland. Not to smart then.slotted tons for no loss to our brave troopies.😅
Look at what Zimbabwe is today Poverty, suffering, rekage beyond repair Where are the trains,???
Ran to Britain afraid when mugabe wanted to take him out. They were daft enough to take him in
This was before Gukurahundi, where the Shona killed tens of thousands of Matabele. Nkomo, of course, was Matabele. The Shona never forgave the Matabele for running away from Shaka in Zululand where they were being killed and enslaved. Such a sad story, I remember it all in the mid 1980s.
