@@jeremysmith9694 thats a heavy lens...I actually use the M50 and sigma 16mm f/1.4 with the Zhiyun Weebill S, which a combo that works perfect and I didnt have to worry about being close to the weight limit. In fact, with the Weebill, I can still put even heavier lenses on and not have to worry about it.

Thanks for sharing your views on this gimbal. But I have yet to see how it works with the Canon M50. I just want to see if the Canon M50 eye piece clears the rear gimbal motor?

If I ever see Potato Jet with a backpack that has gear sticking out, I am doing a snatch and run. I can definitely outrun imo-san!

The “bobble” actually happens when the motor settings are set too strong. Set it to Low/Weak or Medium on the Zhiyun if bobble occurs.

Can u ad shoe mount and microphone then put it on gimble?

Glad you reviewed this because I was very strongly looking at this for using with a cellphone that would have a lens and an LED light attached. Needed something stronger than the $100 dollar range gimbal but without overdoing it for a cellphone. I also wanted something I could use for a mirrorless dslr with small lenses which will be a future purchase down the road. Something upgrade-proof. Looks like this definitely hits the sweet spot 😄👌🏽

@@PhotoGearFun Thank you! It is making me think I might be able to use it with my Panasonic G7. With the lens I like it weighs in a little below 500 grams, and it's pretty compact (being Micro 4/3). Might be a good pickup for me.

I love Zhiyun's Pan Follow mode which for me gives the best stabilization for 90% of shots, and then on the odd occasion when you need to tilt up or down, you can just hold down the front trigger, you are temporarily in Follow mode. As soon as you release the trigger, you go back to Pan Follow mode. (This works on the Crane M2 as well as the Weebill Lab.) I just bought a DJI Ronin SC, and was surprised that they don't have this simple capability in the Pan Follow mode, and you are forced to use the joystick, which I found to be harder to use.

I wanted this for my Canon M50 + Sigma 16mm setup but I've seen reviews saying half the features don't even work with the size of the m50 plus a lens larger than the kit lens. I ended up going with the FeiyuTech G6 Max instead, so once it arrives, I guess we'll see how I like it

This is impressive for the size and price range. Might have to get this for the ZV-1. I just wish it would grow with me when I go full-frame in the future as it looks to have a small payload! Also, your humour rocks.

Toronto, I see! Just bought the M2 today. Now comes the learning curve, never having used a gimbal-type device, ever! Filmed hours of video in London, England last November, but too jittery when walking- what a waste! Hope a Panasonic Lumix LX100 will be comfortable with this!

Just watched a sony a7c with kit lens balanced on the M2. That's a full frame camera with a zoom - awesome light package.

Cracking videos, decided to go with your LUT pack for the EOS R too. FYI the ones for the neutral profile seem decent on the G7X Mark III, and G5X Mark II - really loving the clean HDMI output from the pair of them, however it's more of a case of mounting the camera on top of the Ninja V, rather than the other way around.

This gimbal is looks perfect for those shooting with lightweight cameras and phones. I want this gimbal! I thought "imo" meant sweet potato. During the cooler months in Tokyo, I would buy "yaki-imo" which was grilled sweet potato. FYI - they were delicious! I believe "jagaimo" is the general term for potato.
