I don’t playboat it’s above my skill level LOL but wouldn’t the current help you get back up into this move in the river? Meaning you can probably nail it already on the river!

yes and no. It can work for you or against you depending on how you are oriented to the current...just like any roll. You just need to keep your orientation to the current when you are setting things up.

I had to unlike that one so I could give it a second like. My play boat needs some love, I don't use it much. No back rest, no foot pegs/board, no hip padding, ...

unfortunately I begun kayaking too late in life to enjoy some of the bigger river almost 60 before my first paddle stroke/swim

3rd Wed of every month there is a roll session and cookout / social there. The other Wed's there is usually a small crowd there but no cook out. come on out! Check Carolina Canoe Club page on Facebook for details.
