Zastava ZPAP M70 with Primary Arms SLx 3x Microprism optic for AK47
Excited to have the optic in place on top of this rifle. I shot groupings of 5 shots at 25 yards and made adjustments for windage and elevation after each group was fired. Straightforward process. My eyes don't work like they used to but with this PA optic atop the M70 I can make some good hits at 50-100 yard range now. Thanks for watching!

Use a lower mount so u can get a better cheekweld. AKs are better suited for lower mounted optics.

Yeah it does- I got quite a few comments on that. I removed the high riser on my last trip to the range.

Thanks for the feedback. The optic is mounted using the medium Cantilever spacer. It adds a half inch to the height.

Very cool- I just re-sighted mine after removing the spacer I had on it. For my mount I need to tighten about every 100 rounds or it moves a bit.

Yes, it was. I removed the risers after sighting in the optic the first time. Thanks for the feedback!
Been thinking about picking one of these up? Does it feel practical or does it feel like you’re trying to beckon too much steadiness for a semi 7.67x39?

The M70 rifle weighs in at 7.9 lb. and is heavier than an AR platform rifle by a pound maybe but manageable to shoot and brings a bigger smile. To answer the question though no issues with holding it steady and hitting rounds on target. Still weighs less an M60 machine gun.😀

What mount are you using and does it sit centered?

Zastava M70 Scope mount- manufactured by UTG. It sets centered atop the rifle. Needs tightened every 100 rounds though.
I have the same rifle and optic. How was you accuracy at 50? Mine was about hand sized. I mounted the optic as low as possible.

Hello Steve. At 50 yards the rounds will hit the target but the aim point needs to be about 2" lower than what you are trying to hit. (My experience). I used the medium spacer which adds half inch in height.
