The Sarod, is one of the most difficult instruments to play, especially for the ladies. The way she has played the sarod cant be expressed in word.Can be only felt. I had an opportunity attend one of concerts. I consider myself very lucky to be one of her audience. She had then played Pooria. Simply FANTASTIC

I have heard Zarin Daruwala since she was a young artist and her progress is amazingly so high and towards perfection. I always admired her and miss her performances still.Coming from Parsi community she really worked hard to reach the goal in Indian classical field. She is really sakshat Saraswati in this birth.

She unfortunately left this world in Dec. 2014 !! A great loss indeed. She was a child prodigy and won numerous awards !!

This is the best and most comprehensive rendering of the raga that is available on youtube. The tonal variations she employs on the sarod is unbelievable, and of the highest level. A very bright and uplifting presentation. Sad there is so little of her works available. Thanks for the upload

I have been searching for this for years. Jansamohini is so rare and Zarin Daruwala has played this so beautifully. Thank yoy

Most beautiful Jansamohani i have ever heard on sarod. Raag is masterfully handled bringing out its emotional essence.

I have always been a great fan of this Sarodist, ever since I saw her play in Jullundur, 1966.

Sharan Rani was another Sarod player. When she died she left very rare musical instruments that she had collected in her travels.

यह जनसंमोहीनी राग बहुतही सुंदर है । बहुत कम सुननेको मिला है। डाॅ.पं.वसंतराव देशपांडे जी ने गाया हुआऔ( व्होकल) यह राग सुनकर ही मुझे येझरीन दारुवालाका सरोदपर राग सुननेकी इच्छा सुई । बहुत ही बढीया !
