Yah, I was thinking the same thing. Jetskis if you ride them hard (which is part of the fun) are notorious for absolutely atrocious gas consumption. I got to think you are not going to need to absolutely back that with batteries. Can't wait to see!

I've watched ALL of your Bayliner videos after I just picked up a 97 Bayliner with the exact same power train about a month ago and man do I enjoy your take and approach to your projects. Well thought out, smart approach, and solid editing. Keep it up man, this is gold.

Do a compression check. Let it warm up before you ride and ride it 1/2 throttle or less for a few minutes before sending it hard. Prevents scuffing hot expanding pistons against cold steel cylinder walls. I had one of these for years. Have a 2007 Seadoo GTI 130hp 3 cyl 4 stroke now. No problems so far.

@@lustfulvengance AC-induction, no brushes and no permanent magnets. Motor will probably last longer than I do 😂

Hey Zack, I was wondering how your plywood wood stringers are holding up. I saw that you didn't use marine grade in a previous video. I have aquired a 99 bayliner 2050ss and I have torn the rotted floor out. How are your stringers, bulkheads and transom doing? How long since you installed them?

Did you find that your motor was seized up after the Texas freeze?

Nope, I drained the water out of engine before the freeze

@@ZachsGarage1 I know of several people here around Livingston TX area that lost their inboard from the freeze. I thought that might been the causes of your motor issues. I just found your channel last night with your boat rebuild. Looks like a buddy and I are going to do the same. I will use your method and links for our rebuild. Looking forward to seeing the electric jetski. Thanks for your video's I'll share with others.
