You mean running around. Fields is 1 leg injury away from being what he was before a bust. As it sits now, he's terrible in the pocket. Run all you want but if you can't throw from the pocket, you aren't winning anything. Look a Jackson in Baltimore. He's a highlight reel. But he can't throw from the pocket. You can win some, but you aren't beating good teams if you can't throw from the pocket now and then. Jackson can't and it's why they haven't thrown huge money at him. They know his ceiling. They see it every day. Imagine Fields getting hit and now he can't run. It should scare you if he was your QB.

Many saw Wilson's BYU tapes and seen that he had great line protection, 4 to 5 seconds to throw. I do not believe I seen any video of him under pressure making great read and then the great throw. His team mates did not make him a team caption which is a major red flag on his ego and/or attitude with his team mates. What did the Jets see in his college career that made him think he is the number two pick? My same old Jets who missed again and again.

It's a very true thing. Even in high school. At quarter back we had a guy who just wasn't it. We never felt like we had a chance with him. Nice arm big tall dude. Not accurate at all. High throws, low balls. It's very frustrating driving the field and he turns it over a bunch. The ones who actually doing well can't even feel good with a loss. 138 yards rushing... But I loss. couldn't even talk glowing about the good rush game because it came in loss.

Coaches are always looking for the diamond in the rough “THE NEXT TOM BRADY, PATRICK MAHOMES, or JOSH ALLEN” but that is not always possible and more often than not it has a lot to do with intangibles than talent. I would have just went with the most talented player or the best available player because when you bust on a Quarterback that high in the draft it sets you back years. The Jets are talented but that QB is not ready to play right now.

Maybe one day these GMs will learn that to be an elite QB in the NFL, it’s not about spectacular plays, it’s about being boring and hitting your layups. Every once in a while something great will happen, but if you get the ball out quickly and accurately with a good read on who to get it to, you’ll have a long career.

Patrick Mahomes has changed the NFL. NFL Front Offices are taking long shots on quarterbacks from BYU. The GM has been very good for the Jets but the fact that they were sold on Zach Wilson from the jump over the number 2 consensus pick in Justin Fields is almost a fireable offense. SMH

I give Shannon a lot of credit, he’s a bonafide professional. Because I’m still bothered by the way Skip spoke to him a few days ago and I’d not be able to brush it off as professionally as Shannon has.

Na, I don't think its about the front office or the fans. I think the majority of his issues are his. You can look at how he lost the team. Besides his bad play, he has done something to cause his teammates to not want him around. I think his interview where he said he didn't let his defense down showed his attitude in general. If he says stuff like that during an interview after a horrible game, I can imagine his attitude in private.

In fairness to Zach Wilson, the Jets ruin everyone and everything they touch. Look how pathetic Geno Smith was when he was the Jets compared to how he is now. Even Sam Darnold has had his moments in Carolina.

Put this into perspective... Zach Wilson has started 9 games this season and he has 6 TD to 7 INT Joe Flacco has started 3 games this season and he has 5 TD to 3 INT

I remember when they said he was better than tua.

With the turnover the Jets have had with the QB position I’ve been blaming their front office for the longest. But when he showed the attitude he did and then Mike White came in and immediately balled out, I lost all sympathy

When did Mike white ball out? He beat the trash bears with grocery baggers playing defense. And hasn’t won a game since. Lost to the bills(almost died) Zach beat that same bills team. Football fans fall for the bs. How can you watch that game last night and put all the blame on Zach? They were in 3rd and long all game because early down penalties and because they can’t run the ball and no team is going to look good or win playing like that. Just like Brady vs the Niners. Brady is the goat but the team wasn’t playing well, he had zero time in the pocket, couldn’t run the ball and they played trash. That’s how it goes when your team plays Bad

All true but in the NFL off days lose game. Games are important in the NFL. Throw away 2 and you don't make the playoff. It's not like basketball or baseball where you lose 80 games in baseball or 40 games in basketball and you make the playoffs. Off days get coaches fired.

fields was actually number 2 and then people saw his pro day and thought he was the greatest thing out there. nfl scouts get too caught up in the offseason stuff. if justin fields was the jets qb right now the team would be competing with the bills for the division. trey lance is another example of someone that should not have been drafted as highly as he was

How could these guys not mention how bad the Jets O-line has played the past couple of weeks? Wilson is a big part, but not the only part. There is basically no run blocking and it's made the Jets offense dangerously 1-dimensional

U do realize the jags have the 27th ranked defense and we're missing 2 key defensive starters, u have to score more than 3 points. The O line isn't to blame because his throws are WAY off target or he's just throwing the ball up for grabs.

It looks like to me the game is to fast for Zach. He is starting at the pass rush and freezing in the pocket. If his first progression he should take off and use his legs at this point. Jets actually got pieces finally
