That smirk when he says 'You said your boy would be seen by the masses someday' says everything.

can't get over those glances he gives to the sky throughout the song. She's looking down, smiling so hard at her boy accomplishing his dreams. Chills and tears every time

She surely is. Though his dream was to be a sailor and to remain an ordinance man in the Navy. He just continues his talent for music because he likes writing songs and showing people his music. And he's really good at it. Either way, his Mama DeAnn is very proud of all her boy has accomplished. God willing, they'll be together again one day.

I get so annoyed by all these people who are getting famous and are actually completely talentless, then I find guys like Zach Bryan and it gives me a little bit of hope that real music by real musicians is still being made out there!

@Makula-px8fr there are only so many notes and chords available, for me I love the simplicity of his guitar work, it is the way he uses his lyrics that does it for me. And I am not knocking all pop because I do listen to a lot of it when I am in the mood for it but I like his realness.

He's a strong man! I can't even listen to him sing about his mom without crying... But he's up there in front of the masses just ROCKIN IT!!!! You're the man, Zach! Keep on keepin' on brother!

Because she will always be by your side and I don’t know your mom but I know my mom wouldn’t want me to cry for her, but to be happy of the life she led and who she raised you to be. Either way you can go on to make her proud and join her in glory one day

That breath at the end. Just screams "we made it momma." The way he looks up a few times as he is singing. He got the biggest stage in country music and he sang a song directly to his momma.

Proud of my fellow military brothers and sisters who are making it big outside the military and showing other vets we can find purpose beyond our days in uniform because i know it’s a struggle for a lot of us. Keep killin it Zach

I'm Native American. I recently heard a native teen sing a cover of "something in the orange" and it made me want to listen to more of his music. Not disappointed at all. I can relate to a lot of his music and it's comforting to hear his music. This song made me cry.

This guy is so pure man.. the songwriting is so natural.. congrats zach you deserve all your success brother..

You can see his eyes starting to water near the end . Guys got real emotions in his music. No need for all the extra stuff you have these days. I’ve been a fan since day one

He’s one of the greatest live shows I’ve ever been to. Tons of energy, just a humble bro who loves playing music

I legitimately have no clue how this young man pulled this off. I mean talk about being on the brink! In that scenario, with that song, and just plain killing it while holding on to every last thread... I've been a big believer in Zach for a while now, but what he accomplished during this is beyond belief when considering all factors. This dude is beyond legit!

We lost our grandmother this summer... My uncles have been absolutely heartbroken... I've sent them both this song and I hope it helps heal them. Their mom saw them have families and the things ZB is saying he wish she saw in this song, trying to lend the perspective they are blessed to have experienced so much with her while she was here.

@@nicksanford7390 all his music is fundamental and basic, though, the writing is just always spectacular. He literally rips 4 cords in every song and has a pretty similar structure in all his songs. So your comment is just based and fairly lame cause you point out that this song in particular is basic, when it is about his Mother. I get what you’re saying but your comments are empty as air to my ears, so I can see how Jimmy had to point out what the song was about and question how it was basic.

This song hurts me to my core. I have lost both of my parents and my mom was for sure the hardest one to get through. But every time I hear this song I helps me over come just a little bit more of this pain.
