    She surely is. Though his dream was to be a sailor and to remain an ordinance man in the Navy. He just continues his talent for music because he likes writing songs and showing people his music. And he's really good at it. Either way, his Mama DeAnn is very proud of all her boy has accomplished. God willing, they'll be together again one day.

    @Makula-px8fr there are only so many notes and chords available, for me I love the simplicity of his guitar work, it is the way he uses his lyrics that does it for me. And I am not knocking all pop because I do listen to a lot of it when I am in the mood for it but I like his realness.

Because she will always be by your side and I don’t know your mom but I know my mom wouldn’t want me to cry for her, but to be happy of the life she led and who she raised you to be.     I'm Native American. I recently heard a native teen sing a cover of "something in the orange" and it made me want to listen to more of his music. Not disappointed at all. I can relate to a lot of his music and it's comforting to hear his music. This song made me cry.

    I legitimately have no clue how this young man pulled this off. I mean talk about being on the brink! In that scenario, with that song, and just plain killing it while holding on to every last thread... I've been a big believer in Zach for a while now, but what he accomplished during this is beyond belief when considering all factors. This dude is beyond legit!

    We lost our grandmother this summer... My uncles have been absolutely heartbroken... I've sent them both this song and I hope it helps heal them. Their mom saw them have families and the things ZB is saying he wish she saw in this song, trying to lend the perspective they are blessed to have experienced so much with her while she was here.

    Amazing singing and songwriting talent. Listening to the words of this song and seeing a good person living out a dream and debuting at the Opry puts a lump my throat and tears in my eyes. He literally rips 4 cords in every song and has a pretty similar structure in all his songs. So your comment is just based and fairly lame cause you point out that this song in particular is basic, when it is about his Mother. I get what you’re saying but your comments are empty as air to my ears, so I can see how Jimmy had to point out what the song was about and question how it was basic.

    I remember following him way back when him and his friends started up his own studio. Before that even. I used to work for a security company and did mostly night shifts, so on the boat back to the main land or on my way to work I'd listen to his songs.
