Zach Bryan: From Indie Country Artist to Overnight Superstar
So you might ask, how did Zach Bryan get famous? And how did he do it so quickly? This may be an easy
question to ask, but in reality, Zach's been working at his craft for a long
time. I dive into some of his career highlights, but mostly his recent addition,
American Heartbreak.
Take a look at @GradySmith's channel and original interview he had with Zach! He's one of the inspirations of why I started my channel!

You rock Zach, been listening for awhile. 1st time hearing you was through my son just before he joined the Marines several years ago.
My brother served with him in the Navy as an AME (he's still in, otherwise I'd say his name), and said he was always talking about music and was a good guy. I'm glad to see that he's made it far.
His songs transcend the human condition. Anybody, and I mean anybody, can relate to his lyrics. Incredible and has helped me through tough times in the past few yrs. I'll always be grateful to him

The fact that I'm not a big fan of country at all, but I consider him one of my favorite artists speaks volumes to his incredible talent. His songwriting is astounding and captivating.

That’s really cool you say that because all throughout my teenage years I didn’t really view modern country music as something to be appreciated, but guys like him and some others are really changing the game and making people get into the world of what country music really is!
Nice analysis my man. Zach is so unique and loved by so many, yet so many don’t even know of him yet. The best is yet to come.

I found him about two years ago and now he’s huge. I’m not a believer in god but I love his use of his own beliefs in his music. The best for me from him is codine-dark and the rawer older stuff. But he’s making great tunes non stop.

I grew up in Kellyville, Oklahoma. can't tell u how much I felt his songs. ironically, my best friend growing up had the same exact name. it's 2023. I'm late as hell but glad I finally listened. Love yall
Not many artists have the ability to make their audience feel every word. ZB sings his truth so genuinely that it spills over to you and me and all at once we’re all sharing the same experience. Music is something else. Thank God for it.
I found Zack on KZread one night in April 2019. Back then I couldn’t have imagined how much he’d blown up to now. I remember, back then, trying to explain to all my friends just how good this guys songs were😂. He has a way of captivating people with his writing that not very many have. It’s really amazing.

I knew this guy was gonna be a star, honesty is the key to his success. HIs music comes from a place that feels original and honest.
Started listening to him around 2019 just from time to time with it playing in the background while I played games, then I started paying attention to his lyrics and started falling in love with his music, man is one of the most talented original artists out there.

Honestly I’m a hip hop guy, over the past couple years I’ve been to 10+ country shows, my fav genre now
When you said if "Country music being almost pop" hit me. My brother once said, "if Areosmith wore cowboy boots they'd be county". Zach Bryan, Sturgill Simpson, Tyler Chliders and Randall King are the future of real country.
I found Zach when I was traveling across the country to move to Los Angeles from a small town in Central Pennsylvania. Something in the Orange was going viral all over TikTok and I listened to it on repeat the whole trip. Decided to dive in to his music head first and I can comfortably say, he is the best and realest artist out there right now. I can't wait for his new album next week. My favorite songs right now are Dark and Codeine Pills
I've been a fan since his first album and it's so surreal to see how big he's gotten and how far he's come. His songwriting is truly generational and I knew the man just needed a shot to headline and the people would come and boy has he arrived! Zach's number 1 fan until my last breath. Thank you for sharing his journey!
I’ve been listening to Zach for a couple. Being 2 hours away from where he’s from he hits my soul in so many ways

Before you even said Johnny Cash, I already thought it, soon as you said navy. The way you told his story reminded me of him. It's like if JC was an artist of our times. It's great that country music is getting into the main again-it's one of the genres I've been into since I was a kid, but I haven't discovered and appreciated any new artists since probably Brandi Carlile. It's a great inspiration as well as an aspiring folksinger myself, that this kind of music can still come back. Thanks for the introduction, man! Will look forward to your next vids. Cheers!

Zach likes to write more than he does to perform. Now they have him on tour.
He is a bad ass for sure! But his song Heading South is about driving to Texas to jam because our music scene is a lot stronger than Oklahoma’s is.
