Patty is killing it on this!!

We Rush fans are a demanding lot. Rush is a very high standard. There have been so many Rush tribute bands over the last couple decades. None I’ve seen have captured the Spirit of Rush as well as this lineup. And it shows on high-level cuts like ‘Bastille Day’, ‘Anthem’, ‘Cygnus X-1’, etc. Well done all around!!

there was 1 canadian band back in the late 70's called klik that pulled it off and they were a power trio ... but this is just as good ! TOTALLY geddy VOCALS

As a Life long Rush Fan, I have to say I am extremely impressed with Patty's perfect vocals and the over all sound that you achieve in every aspect of your music. YYNOT is keeping the legacy of RUSH, Alive and well for future generations

@@lightingrat I wish I could agree with you. Nothing wrong with Rocky but Patty seems to bring energy to the stage and the rawness of her voice and range knock it out of the park. My level of appreciation for this band has kicked up a notch since Patty joined.

@@chrisw2546 I agree. Just came across these videos, and after seeing both singers, I have to say Patty's voice is a lot more raw, and has that grit like old school Geddy had in the higher range. Rocky's voice didn't have that same edge to it IMO. Not at all saying Rocky isn't a good singer, she is! I just think for Rush, Patty's voice is a better fit.

Holy crap this is amazing! Her voice is INCREDIBLE! What a fantastic job!

YYNOT delivers a Crushing pounding PERFORMANCE from the Chambers and vaults of the RUSH masterpiece creations that would awaken Beethoven and Liszt out of their graves to see and hear how heavy that really is. Man! That blows me away. Absolute awe!

man I love her voice! They're all so great, absolutely loving it!!

Everything about this band is awsome. Drummer, bass, guitar and singer.

Not many bands can pull off Rush tunes. Bravo.

This whole band is wicked, and that little Patty is a five foot tall stick of dynamite with a voice that could tame any lion.

You can really appreciate Geddy’s voice when a 20 something female has to give it everything she’s got to hit those high registers. She hits them but…. barely. Not knocking her at all. I really liked it overall. I think she did a phenomenal job.

@@unclejackluminous1470 I think the lesson here is………don’t cover Rush. I personally think she did fine but every time I hear a Rush cover band there’s at least one person that isn’t quite cutting it. I also think if you’re gonna cover Rush there should be a rule…..Only 3 people. YYNOT is the best Rush cover band I’ve heard so far. The rest I would name YYTRY

Been on a bit of a binge watching this band, especially this particular singer. Wow, musicianship is superb all round, and they hit the feeling that listening to these tunes did back in the day. Actually, i become more immersed in that whole vibe, more than i do watching Rush perform these!!!! : ) YYNOT certainly make it come alive, the genuineness is a charisma by itself! And besides, it helps these 2 tracks being firm favourites too : ))) ;

OMG! I've been to three Rush concerts and this presentation would make them proud! I just listened and I would swear that what I heard today IS Rush! The drummer is so awesome! @@fcamiola Didn't much care for Primus' version. Love Claypool, but for better or worse, no matter what song he does, he's always going to sound like Les Claypool.

Whoa - Patty nailed Bastille Day!! Tim and Mr. Alexander are spot on as always. I apologize - I do not know the drummer's name, but he is excellent as well.

Ok, so I am on a praise Patty kick. Patty, you have a voice I love with a depth of quality that will shine more and more, capture your own nuisances and you will know what I mean, not only when doing a cover. The more I listened, the more it got to me. Btw, I love the way you bounce on stage, it's fun. I am a critic, and if I find myself having a negative critique, I'll let you know. Keep those originals coming, can't keep playing the same three albums on repeat, would love some more.

Band is amazing but the vocals made me literally feel something strong inside like I have when listening to the original, Jesus this is outstanding performance

I was just listening,, again, and I love how Patty does this, and yet, when she puts in such energy, with a female vocal range, into hitting those highs, you can image the unusual gift Geddy Lee had, unlike the Bee Gees who were highly gifted in falsetto.
