Patty deserves to be an internationally known, true, dye-in-the wool musician's musician. I love what she has done with YYNOT. I appreciate the older (probably not far beyond my age) folks dancing. They're enjoying life and enjoying the moment. This is what life is about. Really.

@@rollergoalie16 For this particular performance, she's not pushing her voice into the grittier territory she usually veers into for Rush covers, so her ability to emulate Geddy's vocal sound is not as readily apparent here. It's more evident in a number of KZread videos of her other band "YYNOT."

Just read a bunch of the comments. When people are enjoying what they're listening to, and have the guts to get out there and shake their groove thing, that's what it's all about. Am I right? If we're all lucky enough to BE that old couple out there dancing to a drum solo, why should we care what anyone thinks about it? It's a great time and that's all that counts. That's why everyone is there in the first place.

Also thanks for posting these videos, I found out about Patty PerShayla and the Mayhaps via YYNOT. I am enjoying Patty's project here with the Mayhaps!

Rocky and Joel are gone unfortunately, and have been replaced by Patty Pershayla and Mike Hetzel. Patty is no Rocky, and Mike is no Joel. While both are capable replacements, i'm glad I was able to see them at their best with Rocky and Joel.

@@rollergoalie16 I guess we all have different tastes and expectations. You are right, Patty is no Rocky. Rocky has a different, pop style voice and always looked extremely uncomfortable on stage. Patty, now amiably departed from YYNOT, has tons of natural stage charisma and a much more suitable to Rush material, voice.

@@Edward-jn5pl I can agree that Patty does have a certain charm. Her and Rocky both represented different vocal eras of Rush and did it well. Unfortunately their new singer Adi, while a capable vocalist, sounds just like Melissa Etheridge singing Rush covers, which in my opinion is a downgrade from Rocky and Patty. It's too bad YYNOT seems to have the Spinal Tap drummer issue, only with vocalists.

The old couple, I think they went to the wrong show!! Lol😂

Yeah the drummer was struggling and the crowd seem to not enjoy the rock and would rather listen to something more country hick music. They weren't ready for Patty.

WHY??? SOO good in YYNOT and then to THIS?? a garage band playing to a nursing home outing??? Wow.low goals for sure.

Please don't disrespect the people who come out to support live music. These folks are not nursing home patients, they are the people that show up. How many friends did you bring to the latest Patty show?
