I don't know if we watched the same anime or not lmao From what I have seen is that Baki is making progress faster than everyone else and just in 18 years he became strong enough to go toe to toe with Yujiro. He was first to knock him out and he made him bleed and hurt him. He gave him the best fight that anyone ever did and even Yujiro himself said that Baki is now strongest on planet too. Yes he tehnicaly didn't win but he did great fight and proved that he is strong and I can see him defeating Yujiro in a couple of years because he is improving and getting stronger faster than Yujiro
