@Steve Thea That's the libero. Every team has a libero, they're basically the team defensive anchor. The liberos have to wear different colored jersey since they can switch with anyone in the back row, so the official and the opposing team know who the libero is to prevent cheating/exploit.

@Sarah Dayana well, in season 3 they were explaining as to why ushijima's left handedness was one of the reasons why it was hard to recieve, mainly because left hand services makes the balls spin differently than right hand services, and since most of the opponents they've faced off were right handed they never thought of learning how to recieve left handed serves

Why did they think they even have a chance? I'm Canadian too. After watching Haikyuu, I actually mess with volleyball now. It's very intriguing. That being said, Canada should've known there was no way we would win.

Yeah.. I guess some are okay, but this much must be disappointing for some players and fans of the sport. I think I'd be quite annoying to get compared to anime characters all the time, I mean it would be quite nice to address their talent directly in the comments, they deserve it.
