LEGENDARY MATCH | JAPAN vs BRAZIL | Men's Volleyball World Cup 2019.
Olympic champions Brazil sealed the International Volleyball Federation Men's World Cup title with a four-set victory over hosts Japan in Hiroshima.
Brazil's 25-17, 24-26, 25-14, 27-25 triumph at Hiroshima Prefectural Sports Center ensured they cannot be caught at the top of the 12-team standings.
Brazil needed to beat Japan to be 100 per cent certain of lifting the trophy and they did so in style, with Yoandy Leal Hidalgo firing 19 attacks and two service aces in their victory today.
"The length of the competition in the World Cup is the same as the Olympic Games, so we had to be focused in these 15 days and to play every match like a final," said Brazil captain Bruno Rezende.
"I think we did this and even with some ups and downs.
"It’s normal that we cannot play every match great technically or tactically, but I think our approach for every game was the right one - to be in a final."

The most technically beautiful game I've ever watched
This match and the 2019 WC is the one that got me into volleyball in general and Japan team in particular. Watched this whole match a few times already

Nishida tinha 19 anos nesse jogo, e já tava jogando nesse nível nas olimpíadas, surreal o nível do cara
Os atletas japoneses têm como características a determinação, perfeccionismo, disciplina e a velocidade. E essa seleção de vôlei do Japão mostrou tudo isso nesse jogo. O problema é que os atletas do Brasil também características únicas que são persistência, foco, vontade e muita força.

Its not considered, because It only applies If his feet pass the line, this being one of the the many moments that this rule is kinda nonsensical for not counting the rest of the body

I don't get it, why do the Japan players panic so much when getting loose balls at 9:51 and 11:11. Both times it was only the second touch and both times they made a horrible play. Seems very obvious to just pass the ball back to their teammates for an easier third touch why do they have to make it so hard for themselves. I'm not so retarded to think I'm better than them in anyway and I know there's a lot of pressure being the world cup finals but its just that in those 2 specific situations there's no chance even I would mess up something so fundamental.
