One of my favorite moments from season 1 is when Crowler is freaked out by the shadow game and is losing, but still screams at Camula how if she wants to get to the students she'll have to get through him first. RESPECT!

My favorite Crowler moment is when he takes on Bonaparte because he refuses to let the dastardly bastard decide who has a right to an education. For all his flaws Crowler will fight to the bitter end for his students and that is respectable AF.

This dude was my favorite character in GX. He had a nice character arc and he has in my opinion one of the best deck archetypes in the series. Just needed more wins

I think it should be said that Dr. Crowler’s voice actor in English is Sean Schemmel... as in Goku from Dragon Ball Z...

Yeah and it fits perfectly for the military themed duel soldiers too, one of my favorite archetypes.

Honestly, Crowler kinda fits the rival criteria now that I think about it. I mean... he already got his 3000 atk ace monster down, and he spent most of his time trying to get back at Jaden, and also have a major character development throughout the series. Seriously, if I didn't know any better, I probably would've believed it if someone told me Crowler was the rival in GX series, who just happen to take on the comedic relief role as well and nailed it. Dang... they gotta make someone like Crowler a rival for a change >.

I love how they really took care of Crowler as a character and not some first arc throwaway. (: GX really was the experimental era for character designs and personalities.

I went from hating him outright and enjoying seeing his plans foiled again and again in season 1...but then he went on to change and actually defend the students, to cherish them, and to outright bawl at the graduation itself. It was moving to see such development in a short time.

Fun fact: in the Italian dub he's actually depicted as German.

Fun Fact:in the Italian dub of Yugioh Gx Crowler has a german accent he also shares the same voice with the Second Doctor(Patrick Troughton) from Doctor Who.

The Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem (ATK: 4400 DEF: 3400) is his strongest card and yet Jaden was able stop it.

he changed for the better in the fourth season. I mean his final duel with jaden was amazing

Say whatever you want, he is ugly and he looks like a grandma but he is actually an amazing character with the most badass monsters ever created amazing character

Captain Amelia from Tresure Planet is kind of simliar to Crowler. She would also play Ancient gear monsters if she was a Yu-gi-oh! character.

SERIOUSLY! Just 35! I would expect him to be in his 50's or 40's. Mama Mia talk about a revelation.

He's obviosly a dude, said so by himself. Watch the first few episodes. Also, transwomen are men.

I'm a little disappointed that he doesn't have the Ancient Gear Dragon in the anime. It comes in his starter deck, and would have been a useful backup boss monster if his Golem is destroyed.

Ngl, I’ve always like Dr. Crowler, and I’m a big fan of his deck, which I use often in Duel Links

I literally made an Ancient Gear Golem Deck just so I could do my impression "Ancient Gear Goooolem!"

His growth really was amazing over the series I just hated how he let sartorious become a student in season two when that man was clearly too old to be a student there and also having terrible intentions

Crowler reminds me of a High School Teacher. They find you annoying for being an Optimistic/Foolish Freshman but then when you become a Discipline/Educated Senior they want nothing but the Best for you. Heck maybe they'll even be there for your College Graduation.
