A broken clock is right twice a day.

7:00 to 7:30minutes made me cry. I lost my mum February 2022 and went into depression, hitting rock bottom in a dark place. I kinda wake up when I lost one of my best friends in October 2023. But when he said he did for those men who didn't make it I realized I could 10x my life because mum didn't make it to 2023 but I did and I owe it to her memory. Awesome video.

My WHY of getting after it leads to my HOW to go about it. Keep on rockin'! 🤘

A better word than your "why" is conviction. If your conviction is weak then so will your discipline. If your conviction is strong so isnyour discipline. Jocko has very strong convictions, so strong they move him. So strong they move those who watch him.

Needed this. I’m able to apply this to clearing debt in my life. And I feel it’s sooo over powering that I continue to just gather more debt. Maybe off topic, but this is how this spoke to me in my time of life. Keep it up guys, keep grinding. We got this

This is a fascinating subject for me, having only recently discovered that most people - apparently - have some innate sense of their ‘why’. Unfortunately my brain doesn’t work in that way, so I’ve been on autopilot for 40+ years, and never appreciating that my life *should* have meaning.

You should speak about hate. Hate is a seemingly endless well of power. It's the Crux of self development. Why do we want to improve ourselves? Because we can't stand ourselves.

Keep grinding. Got picked up by the FBI as a teenager. Did a few years in prison. Came out and got my shit together, just graduated from Harvard two years ago and I’m in real estate now. It’s hard as hell to make it with a record, but it can be done.
