War Of The Realms is a huge event, spanning a few months and more than twenty different comic books, but the best thing you can do is be aware of what is impacted and know where the main story is being told.
Required Reading:
War Of The Realms is a no brainer since it is the core of the story. You can have a great time reading only this title.
Recommended Reading:
Thor is where Jason Aaron put all these events in motion, and is one of the key additions you can make.
Avengers is being written by Aaron as well, and it has been home to Loki for a little while, so it is definitely an important part of the crossover.
War Of The Realms War Scrolls is going to add more content from Jason Aaron, as well as other great creators so it might be able to shed some light on things you were wondering about.

Everything else that ties in to War Of The Realms likely lacks any kind of consequence and should be treated as fun adventures for familiar characters instead of key parts of the story.

I do not mind all the tie ins. I have been reading Thor since 2015 monthly, so i am invested like Wallstreet. The Required reading main title books im getting variants to. The recommended reading im getting 1 copy of cover As unless it is thor and the avengers or venom or guardians. I get all variants to Thor regardless bc he is my OG. Down with Thor since 90 my ninjas. The rest of the books i am just getting cover A's for u less a bout it variant pops off. Im not made of money but my LCS gives me 20 percent off my purchase on anything. So..what the hell

Thanks for this video, Stan! Really helpful to see your opinion. The titles l'm buying are: War of Realms, Avengers, Thor, War Scrolls, Spider-Man and the League of Realms and Uncanny X-Men (just because I'm also picking up the Uncanny X-Men book). Also, i wanted your opinion about one thing. As I am buying all this books in trade paperback (in a few months), should I pick the Strikeforce issues too?🤔

I have high Hope's for strike force. Odd character mash ups in an odd setting for all of them... will be neat in my opinion to see how it turns out for the three teams... and the cover for war of the realms issue #3 looks like a strikeforce cover to me.

I got #1 and #2 and, I cant wait till may 1st, for issue #3.
I hoped for READING ORDER information. You only gave a couple of dates, but you gave a May issue after a June issue, so I have doubts about ANY time order even within your "General" category. This is a shopping list; I'll have to look elsewhere for a reading list.
I want all of them but can justify spending more than 65 dollars on comics a week.

I really do like war of the realms so far. It's really fast paced so far and right to it.
I’ll buy the main series and I’ll grab the collected edition later. I’m already so behind on marvel. I just need a little break
