This vengeful vinyl dribble ditty, now restored via ai music magic, comes to you from North Carolina music legend Marty Waterhouse. Co-written by his equally legendary brother Jim Waterhouse, the song triggered a major investigation into multiple reports of “organic vandalism.” These investigations would turn up no solid evidence. “Do we run some kind of P*ss cabal?” Marty Waterhouse told the Charlotte Observer soon after the song’s release. “No. Of course not. We’re just having a bit of fun. But hypothetically, if you knew someone so connected that on short notice they could have hundreds of men show up and empty 50+ gallons of the yellow stuff into your pool while you were out for a couple hours, you’d probably choose your words carefully…and you’d probably show up to your interviews on time.” When asked what would hypothetically happen if the target didn’t have a pool, The Observer noted that Waterhouse only smirked and said, “They’d make one.”

I remember driving home from a party in Charlotte, NC back in 1965. My then-girlfriend had broken up with me and I was heartbroken. Then the night DJ played this on the radio...good old days.

Hey there. Thanks for the support and kind words. The top ten sounds great. But we're already kind of amazed we have more than 10 subscribers. We have a compilation album called Fool's Golden Oldies Volume 1 on streaming services right now that encompasses most of the catalogue up to "I Fought A Child" with a few songs that aren't here on the channel. Fool's Golden Oldies Volume 2 is in the works, including many of our most recent songs as well as all the new stuff that'll be coming out in July and beyond. August is probably the likely timeframe for Vol 2. We'll make a community post once it's all wrapped up. @@AlmostVinyl You're welcome! I've had dreams of doing these foul ditties myself but I lack the technical skill. You beat me to it. Glad you have an album out! I still think it could go much further. Like timing the single releases so we can get it in the charts. Word of mouth just might make it happen. Not that I know, I've never done it. Of course Ugly Baby (an ought to be smash) would need a few word changes for it to get there. I'm just saying if that bigger audience arrives a timed push might get it on the charts and that would be great.

It's a cool thought. Not sure the world is quite as accepting of Ai music as it would take for something like this to chart, even though we wrote the lyrics. It's also comedic, which works against it in the main stream. We're not exactly marketing geniuses over here. We're just glad everyone seems to enjoy it and there's lots of enthusiasm around the channel. As long as we're having fun making this stuff and people enjoy listening, then whatever organic growth comes from that is great. It'd always be nice to be bigger and more present but it's only been a little over a month since things picked up so it's already way above our expectations. We're learning as we go along and starting to time streaming releases better and farther out (so they have a chance to reach playlists). Anything that comes out on a Friday here will also have a simultaneous streaming release. Ugly Baby was up around the time it launched. If some enormous wave were to come in, hopefully everything should be in place so people can access what they're looking for. And hey, even if some huge push doesn't come, just seeing some of the nice comments like yours people leave (and even some of the absolutely insane ones...) is motivation to continue.

@@AlmostVinyl Yeah, I think this is a cult following and word of mouth stage. I think having artist specific albums would help and at that point you got to do cd's as well. I'd buy that in a hurry. 50 minute compilations might dampen the excitement a little ... but I'd buy that cd too.
