For my first designer bag, I went go big or go home. I purchased a vintage beige Chanel Medium Double Flap. It’s one of my dream bags and with all the price increases going on, I just decided to go for it. I didn’t want to “settle” for a bag that I didn’t really love and wouldn’t get much use of so I went for it :) Never regretted it once.

I just bought an Alexander McQueen curve bag and someone asked me where was I going to wear it… UMM everywhere!! My tip is throw all the tips out the window and buy what speaks to you and wear it how and when you want without a care in the world! Part of the value of a bag is the enjoyment you get from it not necessarily the resale value. Wear it often because wear and tear says she’s loved and your living you’re best life! …. But also… great video ❤️ 👜 😂

I appreciate the word '' SAVAGE" to describe large and often price increases of luxury brands.

My first luxury bag is the speedy 30 in monogram and no regrets at all. It's still one of my favourites and gets a lot of love still after 10 years, it cost £400 😅

My first designer bag was a small LV bag which I sold almost 20 years later with a profit. That proves your theory , always buy the best you can afford as it's a great investment and you can get your money back (and buy a different bag).

my first designer bag was an Alma BB, its is true to my style personality and i still wear it with keen relish to this day x

My first designer bag was a bronze coloured Mulberry Soho. Boy did I get a lot of use out of it!! Bought it for £400 and the cost per wear was probably about 50p in the end :) I have and will never buy bags with resale in mind - I buy what I love.

My first luxury bag is actually the vintage LV multicolored crossbody but because I owned a wallet in the same print, which I noticed that the print does fade over usage so I don't really wear it, keeping it in a pristine condition. The next bag is a Loewe puzzle which I loved it! 😍 On another note, I was wondering will luxury ever be too expensive to afford one day, given the prices keep increasing??? How would KZreadrs maintain their luxury channels, given that we are all average people earning decent living??? Gotta think up of more topics to create new video contents instead of new bags umboxing or unbox and return?? Following the logic of what goes up will come down one day, will the handbags prices ever come down like stock prices??

My first designer bag was a denim LV bag (defo not a classic) but I’ve kept her as a memory. Second was a speedy 30 which was a good shout I paid around £400 for her!!!

I agree about gold hardware. My first luxury designer bags are YSL small loulou gold hardware and toy loulou denim in lilac colour for spring / summer. I also have etro camera bag, and 2 coach crossbody bags, and Jimmy choo clutch . 😊

My first was Alma PM bc i was afraid to go opposite store chanel. Sold the Alma few years later as I felt it was out of style/ not my style and got the Chanel in the end. Should have gotten then medium flap from the start and save thousands.... Buy what you really want. Don't settle! Xoxoxo

If I had known how crazy the price increases can be… I would have bought the Capucines BB, Chanel Classic Flap and Lady Dior mini way earlier.

My first designer bag was a speedy b 25 in ebene and I still love it and use it. I bought it in 2015ish on a trip to Paris and still looks new.

I love coach bags as well because they are affordable for me. Coach bags don’t hold their resale value. So you could pay $300 for a coach bag, sale it, and get under $100 back. But at least someone else can enjoy the bag and not pay full price.

I loved this video. I bought a Fendi for my first designer bag, 20 years ago. It was a total impulse buy- I was obsessed and still love it. I only have several others, including a vintage channel that I love. I am hoping you could do a video on which bag to purchase to mark a special occasion. I finished my M.A. degree and have been dithering about which bag to buy - so unlike me. Literally, for months I have been back and forth, unable to make a decision. Part of this is budget (e.g., I cannot afford a classic flap or Birkin). But the other part of the equation is that I want to buy this special bag and hope to still love it in 20 years. Looking for suggestions on a 'dateless' bag! If you have any! thank you.

I just bought my first designer bag this year, a Prada Saffiano men’s crossbody bag. Made an unboxing video on my channel as well. I want something in leather as I know it will wear great over time, and a classic design that I can use day to night, for work or going out. Not a fan of monograms as well, so I like that Prada is quite ‘understated’ but you still get the luxury feel of the brand. :)

I can totally relate to “buy for your lifestyle”, as I too have been guilty of buying a certain bag because I thought it was beautiful, but then found myself not able to use it since it didn’t go with my lifestyle at that point in time. I also wanted to pick your brain on the Celine Nano Luggage bag. I had bought one a few years ago, but haven’t really worn it in about a year. What are your thoughts on these bags? Would you hold them as an investment (thinking they might come back in style in the future) or sell them?

I've never really been a fan on LV - for me it's always been Chanel. My first designer bag was a vintage mini Chanel. I thought it was best to just save and get the dream bag as I know they are only going to get more expensive

I was afraid to get back into this market l needed somewhere to put some cash & lux has done well for me in this aspect in the past but in moving a few times things got damaged &/ or lost sadly. I had a gay brother into the queen life quite heavily who recently succumb to PML. His drag name was Tiffany Chanel. 😆But he helped me keep up with all of it & take care of it & dress me out & help me with makeup & he worked @ Saks in Houston for a few years & I miss him dearly. I may be an odd one out but I never plan on reselling bags. I love the wear, how it molds into how I use it. Don’t get me wrong I take care of them and I look after them/protect them, but I plan on bringing them to my grave 😂
