Balenciaga is a no no forever for me.
The brand with the disgusting child abuse campaign (I refuse to mention their name) will not be forgiven by me any time soon! When you showed their bags in your video I had to take a break - I find it that disgusting. Parents all over the world are trying to keep their children safe. And then a luxury brand is using images that could normalize child abuse and encourage predators, to sell luxury goods. I don’t cancel anyone for a difference of opinion. But I will cancel everyone who promotes abuse, rasism or violence. Especially towards children.

Hi Steph: I'm wondering if you could comment on the use of the oversized bags by petite women and whether that is too overpowering or out of proportion for that body size.
I think it really depends on the style of the person. It could be really cool and look more oversized 👌

I have several older Balenciaga bags that I love and still wear. I haven’t bought any new ones since the controversy
For the Birkins and the Kelly’s. The whole bag is a giant logo
I liked the Bottega Andiamo bag, but in leather. Where I live suede is not a wise option. Humidity and heat will destroy suede, so is a No-No. Balenciaga still creeps me out so its a no. Most of the others were wonderful.

The Balenciaga bag would be a no for me. It kind of looks like a mashup of a large peekaboo with a Birkin, but doesn’t look as high-quality as those brands.
Balenciaga is forgiven (kinda) but not forgotten. And how they’ve handled the whole scandal is still leaving me speechless, whilst they have apologized; the people responsible still haven’t learned from anything, no remorse was felt.

Fakes and dupes bother people who buy the bags specifically as status symbols. Meanwhile, people who like the style but don’t want to, what seems like overspending, pay for a brand name, will get a dupe or similar product.
Let's not buy Balenciaga. I think their disgusting marketing campaign should have finished the brand anyway. Some people have short memories, but not me. I will never touch a brand who uses children in such a sick way.

Just for my gals out there... I purchased the Chole woody in the tote in rafia/leather. I also thought it was super cute however the leather handles were already frayed and peeling. For the price I had to sadly return. I hope it was just mine because it was so perfect for summer otherwise!

The Asia market in general really doesn't care about the scandal, but I don't know I'll ever get past things with Balenciaga to ever walk outside wearing that brand :/ Personally, it's just a pass.
