I've never understood the love for Chanel. Maybe it's just not my style but between the suits and the bags they give me old lady vibes. I know a lot of their items are considered classics but given their steep price increases and declining quality I could never buy their bags. Same with Hermes. I think the Kelly is beautiful but I don't want to buy someone's old bag and I'm not willing to play games kissing up to an SA and spending thousands to *maybe* get a new one.

I second that, Chanel will never be on my list, Kelly I like because of the structure and is very clean design, it will be a bag I like, I won’t spend the money on it though. I like practical good quality bags, and I never buy yearly maybe once every few years

The Loewe puzzle bag is very trendy now as well.

The Birkin is such a grandma bag, but everyone and their mother carry one😂. If it didn’t cost what it does, and wasn’t that hard to get, it would not have had the appeal.

It's also a bag that looks terrible cause it's a pain in the behind to close with the stupid straps. So everyone leaves it open and it looses the shape. 🤣

The lady Dior is def classier than the overpriced Chanel flap

Love your videos. I don’t see the appeal on the Row bag no matter how much the influencers push it. The Hermes Kelly is my favorite on this list. Nothing is classier or more sophisticated.

Here's a fact I know when I visit Bali: they price it higher for foreigners and domestic tourists, but lower for locals (usually tourist spots), so I usually go in*preluxs* Go shopping.

Really appreciate the time and effort you put into your videos - they’re not the same old, same old put out by many creators - you provide actual useful information and statistics. The more bags I look at within the realms of my affordability and possibility of me buying, keep coming back to the Celine 16. You first piqued my interest and continue to do so.

Fantastic video- love the interesting back stories. I had guessed the Margot as #1 and was surprised it didn’t make the list. Not my favourite- maybe need to see it in person… The Hermes I have my eye on currently is the Picotin in the 18 size in the Limoncella colour- such a lovely looking bucket style and I think it would be so practical with a bag organizer. You can’t beat the Hermes colours…

Hehe Steph, you made me buy 2 Trendy CC (black and light gray) and LV Ever Mini Lockme, and now, because of you (again), I want the Celine 16 (Tan color)!🤣 But I think I will buy one Launer's Traviata bag before of that.

Yes they aren’t good for holding much are they. I kept mine as I love the look and I’m glad but I do find I use the Celine 16 more due to the capacity

Color wise, the fake one here, looks so much more vibrant, crisp, clear and clean! I can’t tell no matter what and that’s prob any because I’m dumb and also I’d never be able to buy and own one ever! Lol

I would like to add how important is to try the bag in store, wear it, feel it, think about personal style. I went to Dior to buy Caro bag as it looked beautiful online but in store it wasn't matching with me. I came home with Miss Dior that I would never consider. ❤

I just got my first luxury bag. A pre-loved Lady Dior. I’m not sure of its 2012 or 2014. But it’s back when the lady Dior used to have a zipper.

yey, i did guess correctly. as its one I wish to acquire. however I don't think I would ever pay reseller price. so its always left to the odds when I go to Paris and try to get an app. sadly last and 1st time I went I tried for 7/8 days and no luck. maybe this yr I'll get lucky.

I think that what makes the business affinity so unique is that you don’t see it a lot since it’s a seasonal bag.

I went to Las Vegas last week expecting to buy the Celine 16, but came home with the very light pink Miss Dior in the larger size. As for Hermes, they treated us like crap. They immediately assumed we were “just looking”, and then told us they didn’t have ANY bags for sale. Is that possible or are they just that rude? Dior, Chanel, Cartier, Celine, and all the other stores were very nice to us.

You are a winter in colors

I think peoples ego is hinder them getting a Birkin. I feel like the nobody person from sex and the city who got one. Being pleasant, interested, small talk, look good and ask for wishlist, then dont say anything more about it and only buy what you like so youre not disappointed should they not offer one.

I’m not that impressed with the Hermes bags. Their prices are too high. So are Chanel and really all of the designers. When my husband hits the lottery I will be buying something for myself. But not until them.

Hermes is not attractive and Chanel is not a favorite. I like bags with some color and character. Both brands are quality but just not very pleasing to the eye.

Buying those items keeps you poor. The very rich go for the super fake. They prefer to invest their money where it multiplies and yes don’t tell me that these bags are investments.

These bags aren’t investments of course. But you’re wrong that the wealthy only buy super fakes. Ask yourself why there’s a narrative that wealthy people buy super fakes? It’s yet another way to separate the people who can truly afford the real thing from the boutiques and those who can’t. Also, convincing everyone that the rich buy fakes makes buying directly from the store (the true goal) far less competitive.

Unpopular opinion: Birkin bag is super ugly. Very matronly looking. Grandma bag for sure 😅! Sorry , not sorry!
