Listen bro, the first step in fixing any issue is seeing a problem, then creating a plan to combat the issue, and following through to see results. You’re headed in the right direction and the body is highly mailable. Keep taking steps to be healthier, but don’t do it in a way that you aren’t happy with where you’re currently at. Enjoy every step along the way, because it truly is about the journey and not the end result. I spent 4-5 years getting a shredded physique, and life didn’t get any better. It’s about the journey and good health, that’s really it.

as someone who has recovered from an ed & cut out sugar for months now, i can most definitely confirm this video true! when i had my ed, sugar was practically a drug to me that i got my daily dopamine fix with, but i would never feel good afterwards. i always felt weak, tired, irritable & depressed. that is when i decided to cut out sugar to improve my diet to overcome my ed & it worked miracles for me both physically & mentally. the way chris explained the timeline of how your body reacts without sugar overtime is exactly how it was for me. my cravings died down like never before & i never thought it would be possible, but i was able to control myself & no longer craved the dopamine fix that came from cookies, cake etc. my workouts also got better & better & i am able to sleep perfectly every night. but of course, i will have added sugar here & there IN MODERATION & know when i've had enough, as i know how it will make me feel if i overconsume it. the only thing i cannot relate to is the skin part & this is solely because my acne is based on my genetics & hormones so no amount of sugar i limit will help, unfortunately. however, i have seen it work wonders in plenty of other people's skin before! so is it worth it to cut out sugar? absolutely. you can still live your life & enjoy sweet treats, you will just be more mindful & know what other alternatives there are & it will overall help you in the long run! good luck guys!

You don't need carbs at all. There are plenty of examples of people only eating meat their entire lives and are in the best shape possible. Your body creates all the glucose it needs on its own.
@seaoc6578
20 күн бұрын
I don't believe he said you need carbs, but that you need glucose. That said, there are other reasons why purely meat eating isn't necessarily fully healthy for the body, though it often comes from essential vitamins we need to intake and such. It's definitely not the worst diet, but having a mix of veggies, fruits and generally white meats is often the best diet with vitamins, proteins, and glucose
@arkiststark

@@seaoc6578i wouldnt only eat meat all day cause i like my fruit but saying that you lack vitamins is wrong. Beef fat (and eggs) literally cover everything on the vitamin and mineral side of things
@seaoc6578

@@arkiststark It depends on how much you eat a day. The whole thing with scurvy is that a carnivore diet can lack Vitamin C unless you eat a sufficient amount (if I'm not mistaken it's around 2.5 lbs per day) of good meat. So it depends on the quantity and the freshness of the meat as well. That said, eggs do have a lot of vitamins in them as well.

Im not eating sugar from over a year i feel very active after leaving sugar, sugar really makes us lethargic, chris is really doing a great job making people aware about sugar, because now a days refined sugar is very common in a lot of eating stuff
Great job. Keep it up! I'm proud of you and how you emphasize the importance of health through this video, Chris.
The educational aspect of this video is 10/10 bro im in med school and i feel like i could use this as supplemental for a diabetes lecture/ effects of added sugars on the body. Loved this content bro definitely wanna see more stuff like this!!
This video had the best timing. I stopped eating sugar a week ago to clear acne and it's already working. Think you CHRIS for this video. Good work😄

as someone who has recovered from an ed & cut out sugar for months now, i can most definitely confirm this video true! when i had my ed, sugar was practically a drug to me that i got my daily dopamine fix with, but i would never feel good afterwards. i always felt weak, tired, irritable & depressed. that is when i decided to cut out sugar to improve my diet to overcome my ed & it worked miracles for me both physically & mentally. the way chris explained the timeline of how your body reacts without sugar overtime is exactly how it was for me. my cravings died down like never before & i never thought it would be possible, but i was able to control myself & no longer craved the dopamine fix that came from cookies, cake etc. my workouts also got better & better & i am able to sleep perfectly every night. but of course, i will have added sugar here & there IN MODERATION & know when i've had enough, as i know how it will make me feel if i overconsume it. the only thing i cannot relate to is the skin part & this is solely because my acne is based on my genetics & hormones so no amount of sugar i limit will help, unfortunately. however, i have seen it work wonders in plenty of other people's skin before! so is it worth it to cut out sugar? absolutely. you can still live your life & enjoy sweet treats, you will just be more mindful & know what other alternatives there are & it will overall help you in the long run! good luck guys!

Perfect video teaching the best wisdom, thank's a ton Chris, I always wanted a full clear explanation into this and finally got an indepth analysis into this, Chris's golden wisdom indeed
Been taking health courses at my community college and we just learned about all this! Really enjoyed the video! Super informative :)
Thanks to you and some other people I switched my diet to low carb/keto I try to not eat more than 70g of carbs each day and I cut added sugar almost to zero, the sugar I eat is from fruits or berries 😁 I dropped 7kg this year alone and achieved the next grade in bouldering 💪🏻 I didn't even have problems with dropping sugar, no headache or anything
This was a great video! It's clear a lot of work went into the research and editing!

Chris you probably won't see this, but I wanted to tell you that you're a big inspiration for me. I was 150 kg when I started to watch your videos. I am now 125 kg and keep losing weight, mostly just from cutting products that have additional sugar and also trying to add your exercises from home to my routine every other day. Thank you man. Following your tips helped me already lose 7 pounds in a week hope I'm ready by summer
Wow Thank you soooo much, I needed this. YOU ARE AWESOME

Thank you Chris Heria for making this video. As a cyclist, the industry is moving towards more and more sugar to restore glycogen levels faster for more power output on the bike. However, this takes a significant toll on the body and pro cyclists careers are becoming shorter as this incredibly high sugar diet is unsustainable and only viable for younger adults.
Chris Heria giving lecture is the best
Thanks for sharing this amazing documentary! Hopefully people who watches this will pay attention to sugar intake!

This is a sign from Universe to stop eating added sugar!!! Thank You Chris!
Thank you so much for this, it was so informative and motivating!
as a med student I can also add that fructose can enter muscle tissue directly while glucose needs to be transported via channels into the cells which requires ATP ( energy). its actually interesting if you think about it. Fructose can therefore provide your muscle cells faster with energy than normal glucose. amazing video Chris, I like your medical content!
Thanks bro! I needed to hear that

I've been off added sugars for many, many years now. I quit after college and it was one of the best decisions of my life. And Chris is right. Quitting it for food is insanely difficult. You'd be so surprised just how many foods at the grocery store have added sugar, even ones you think wouldn't have any!
What a Informative and supportive content. Thank you. All the way from Nepal.
You don't need carbs at all. There are plenty of examples of people only eating meat their entire lives and are in the best shape possible. Your body creates all the glucose it needs on its own.
@seaoc6578

@@seaoc6578i wouldnt only eat meat all day cause i like my fruit but saying that you lack vitamins is wrong. Beef fat (and eggs) literally cover everything on the vitamin and mineral side of things

Such a good video. It is different from the usual videos but it was very informative and useful. I just now realise how smart you are too lol. So, I'm gonna cut down on sugar from now on.

Ive always been pretty skinny and working on bulking so ive been eating healthier and cutting out sugars and processed foods. Im pretty solid but trying to get chiseled so i just have to keep pushing forward and im sure ill get to where i want to be since ive only been consistent with it these last 6 months. Great video. Not only does sugar taste like crap after going without it for a while but definitely feel like shit after having junk food which makes it an easy motivation to keep going.
learned alot nice vid, and also after about 11 days your tastebuds will be more neutral and you will begin to like foods and drinks that are more acidic and alkaline booring food becomes normal food

We are all addicted to sugar I tell ppl all the time. I'm a heavy weed smoker and I stopped cold turkey for 2 yrs with no issues after the initial first 2 weeks and when I try to fast from sugar for a month I crave it so much plus literally everything has added sugars in it.
Thank you so much for this information 💯
Great info. Would you ever do a video for people dealing with diastasis recti?
Awesome and informative video! @Chris Heria could we get a video doing the same with salt vs no salt?
Lots of info in ten mins thanks man!
You literally just explained to me why I don't really EVER get joint pain, why I look so skinny, and why I don't have acne. (I am a teenager, and my family doesn't really have any money for sugary things, so I only really have access to healthier options, when I do get food that is.)
Awesome video, thanks needed to hear this!

These type of informative videos are great!
That’s why I added your advice to my e-book. You are a great influence. Honestly, I’d love to know what is your greatest accomplishment?
Thanks for the video. I'm going to trying the monk fruit. I haven't cut out all white sugar but i have reduced it by a great amount over the last 5 years or so.
I'm very happy that the info here is correct by simply saying: If you eat the amount of Carbohydrates you need, you don't need added sugar (simple sugars), that's perfect! We need carbs don't cut them but simple sugary stuff we don't but one here and there will not hurt you ;)
I cut out 95% of my sugar consumption almost a year ago. Super happy with that decision. I feel so much better, no more afternoon crash, better sleep, I lost weight, less joint pains, way clearer skin. I really didn’t find it difficult to cut it out. After a few weeks I started to lose interest in sugary foods. I have literally no interest in anything sugary now.
