well its the difference in philosophy of both......Islam and Judaism both insist strongly on punishing and rewarding for doing good or bad........while Christianity says do whatever u want it doesn't matter as long as u just believe and u will get reward.....so logically it make sense for a christian to not obey by any rule and not follow religion bcz it will not effect u....u can enjoy this world and afterlife both....while in Islam and Judaism there will be punishing if u don't follow.....so they try to strictly follow their religions...

The (Muslim) man is the protector and leader - he is expected to adhere to Islam (the woman too). If he doesn't (and/or she doesn't), the family will be in trouble. It is important that people study their religions, whatever they are.

@@briesummers2527 Nope, it's true that women liked to be followed and men leads. That's a man's duty. I don't see anything wrong with it, it doesn't mean women are incapable. Women have other skills that men don't have, women have take care of their family. Do you know the place of a mother in Islam? It is said that Heaven lies beneath a mother's feet. Allah does not like those disrespect their mother and it's a sin to do that. Taking care of your family is a great thing, I don't understand why people look down upon it. Our mothers teach us how to walk and they fed us when we were little, motherhood is so important and as a female i think it is way better than telling your husband what to do.

So in Islam, since the man is hte head of the home and has the final say, she is little more than an afterthought and her opinion means nothing because he makes the final decision. That's pretty much what you're saying. As a female, you are okay with your Muslim husband bossing you around, because he has the final say, so don't ever think your opinion means anything. In Islam, a man can have four wives WITHOUT the consent of his first wife, and the wife is just an obedient baby maker, like you.

May God guide you so you can taste the sweetness of faith 🙂. I only feel pity for people who have no purpose in life and end up lonely. We take family seriously and good practicing spouses have mercy and love with each other and this is how we preserve the family. In a society where the number of single moms, rape, suicide and depression are skyrocketing may be modernity should be questioned not Islamic values. Thank you !

If the guardian is well-off, Let him claim no remuneration, but if he is poor, let him have for himself what is just and reasonable. When ye release their property to them, take witnesses in their presence: But all-sufficient is God in taking account.

Not sure what you put in bold reveals anything about age of marriage or rest of the verse ? It's simply telling you to ensure orphans are tested / observed to ensure they are mature enough before you give them what is rightly theirs ( property / inheritance from dead parents) so they are not taken advantage of by other people or for you to take advantage of them by quickly wasting their wealth before attaining age of maturity to handle their own property .

I have question. I've been talking to a Muslim girl for some time. She's very religious but at the same time progressive and open minded. She doesn't mind that im not Muslim. In the video, those two Muslim woman said their kids religion comes from their father, so they can't marry a non-muslim. My girl came with one conidition with me that our kids has to be Muslims, which I honestly don't care because I'm a Buddhist and my father is a Christian, its the same situation. All I gotta do as a father and a husband is to support my family and children. My children being Muslim is their own concern and life to worry about. So would that make things fair for Muslim woman to marry a non-Muslim like me then?

I really don't understand the reason why people are trying to learn a religion by looking at people. It's no good, don't do it please. Because the time you see the person doing something wrong, you judge the religion itself and that does not make any sense at all. It's like judging Math because of your professor. It's HIS faulth if he does something wrong not Maths. So please do consider learning from RESOURCE itself specially for ISLAM which is Quran and Hadith. As far as I could see, there are certain misdirections about Islam on media. About marriage, about being "NOT MODERN" which is just a myth or about social life in Islam. I am a muslim and I love everything Allah created including all of you guys. Allah is the most merciful and he loves those are merciful as well. Be safe, Allay may protect you ALL my friend.

The Question "is it fair that men can marry whom he wants but muslim girls can just marry muslim guy" is always so stupid. Instead how were with asking "Why is it so?". Because the influence of a man on a woman is stronger than the other way around, because a women is more emotional as a man. That's why it will be a big problem for a muslim women to practice her relegion with a non-Muslim husband. And for men isn't everyone allowed to marry, she should believe on one God like in Cristian and Jews. Thats Why a atheist women, budhist, hinduist or somewho like that, who blieves on more then one god or don't blieve on God its not allowed to mary for men.

Exactly because of that, everybody ask why 4 but nobody talks about the more then 50 sex partners of a non muslim man. But many people will say but this is polygamy, because he changes always the partners. Come on please,my ass! And islam to marry 4 women is not a rule it is a permission. As the religion of Islam spread to the Arabian Peninsula, some of the traditions of Jahiliyya carried out their decrees with all of their implications. Islam has completely abolished some of them and restricted some of them. One of them was that there was marrying unlimited women in the time of Jahiliyya. That is, before Islam, men in the Arabian Peninsula could marry as many women as they wanted without limiting the number. And Islam limits this to 4. That means Islam doesn't increase it to four, it decreases it to four. However, if necessary, it shows that it is permissible to marry two women or three women or four women, provided that all conditions are met. Even it's allowed to marry 4 but the Islam prefer and recommend to mary one woman because you must treat all your women equally and fairly. And even Allah says in holy Quran "If you fear that you will not be able to do justice among your wives, just settle for one." (Nisa, 4/3). And in the same Sure Allah says again "No matter how strong you want, you will not be able to act fairly among womens." (Nisa, 4/129). That's why islam recommend to marry one and not four. How I explained to marry 4 it is just a permission not a rule. In addition, because women are not as easily aroused as men, they require less sexual intercourse than men. In other words, men need more intercourse than women in a year. Women have menstrual days and during this time husband and wife cannot have sexual intercourse. That's why the man get the permission to be marry more than one woman if there is a risk of adultery.

As muslims our 'right and wrong' is by what Allah gives us, as long as we're in the fold of Islam we're submitted to our master, and that's TRUE freedom, and that's THE truth. (3) *Female-children becoming fataaya* (young ladies) become ready to be "wed":* Noble Verse(s) *4:25* وَمَن لَّمْ يَسْتَطِعْ مِنكُمْ طَوْلًا أَن يَنكِحَ ٱلْمُحْصَنَـٰتِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ فَمِن مَّا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَـٰنُكُم مِّن فَتَيَـٰتِكُمُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِإِيمَـٰنِكُم ۚ بَعْضُكُم مِّنۢ بَعْضٍۢ ۚ فَٱنكِحُوهُنَّ بِإِذْنِ أَهْلِهِنَّ وَءَاتُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ مُحْصَنَـٰتٍ غَيْرَ مُسَـٰفِحَـٰتٍۢ وَلَا مُتَّخِذَٰتِ أَخْدَانٍۢ ۚ فَإِذَآ أُحْصِنَّ فَإِنْ أَتَيْنَ بِفَـٰحِشَةٍۢ فَعَلَيْهِنَّ نِصْفُ مَا عَلَى ٱلْمُحْصَنَـٰتِ مِنَ ٱلْعَذَابِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِىَ ٱلْعَنَتَ مِنكُمْ ۚ وَأَن تَصْبِرُوا۟ خَيْرٌۭ لَّكُمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ If any of you have not the means wherewith to wed free believing women, *they may wed believing girls* from among those whom your right hands possess: And God hath full knowledge about your faith. Ye are one from another: Wed them with the leave of their owners, and give them their dowers, according to what is reasonable: They should be chaste, not lustful, nor taking paramours: when they are taken in wedlock, if they fall into shame, their punishment is half that for free women. This (permission) is for those among you who fear sin; but it is better for you that ye practise self-restraint. And God is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. A girl starts out being a child *طفلة* . This is further proven in Noble Verses *22:5* and *40:67* above (طفلا child) . Then she becomes a fataat فتاة , which is what فتياتكم (your young ladies) is derived from in Noble Verse *4:25* . *Clearly, Allah Almighty never allowed marriage with a طفلة child!* Furthermore, Allah Almighty Said: Noble Verse(s) *24:59* وَإِذَا بَلَغَ ٱلْأَطْفَـٰلُ مِنكُمُ ٱلْحُلُمَ فَلْيَسْتَـْٔذِنُوا۟ كَمَا ٱسْتَـْٔذَنَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْ ءَايَـٰتِهِۦ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌۭ *But when the children among you come of age* , let them (also) ask for permission, as do those senior to them (in age): Thus does God make clear His Signs to you: for God is full of knowledge and wisdom. الاطفال (children) is a plural, and it is derived from طفل (child), which is singular. الحلم, which is translated as "come of age", literally means when the child knows about sex. For boys, it also means that when he experiences his first ejaculation either in his sleep or through masturbation. So clearly again, Allah Almighty differentiated between the children and the teenagers.

No there is restriction on men marry with anyone except Cristian, jews or muslim No to idolator

They just don't know how to answer the question. Wedding in islam isnt just wedding.. Husband and wife have to have same perspective, same vision, same principle of life.. It will be very hard if they have different faith.. for married love is not enough.. that's why muslimah better married a muslim, and muslim better married a muslimah, even their permited to married other monotheism women but our prophet Muhammad PBUH said the ordinary woman (even the slave, at that time) who is a muslimah much much better for a muslim man to marry than beautiful or rich non muslim women, because their faith and goodness should be come first than anything..

@@shadmankhan8930 According to a tradition coming from Jabir (a companion of the Prophet (PBUH)) , the Prophet (PBUH) said : “We may marry a woman from the People of the Book but they may not marry Muslim women” (See, Tabari, ibid)

lol its not about being open minded... they follow what their religions tells them to do.. its called belief even tho you might not like it or understand it you follow it cause you simply believe in it. now ask a orthodox jew or a christian women if they would marry outside of their religion lol bet they would say the same thing, cause they also cant marry men outside from their religion... yall always have to attack muslim women dont you ahhaha she said they can marry ANYONE as long as they are muslim thats the only rule.. and they are free to marry and be with who ever they want, why do you measure "open mindedness" with who someone wants to marry? so now if i dont want to marry an american man am not open minded? lol then so be it... they are free to do and practice whatever they want, i suggest you go find something else to think about.. and ofc you are indian arent you.. the most open minded people ever..

That’s not true.

The description is wrong. Muslim men cannot marry anyone from every belief. Muslim men can only marry from people of the book who are the christian and jews. Also those women from the people of the book have to be chaste till marriage and pious.

I mean the interpretation that the host has made based on the points said by the girls. Especially the point that a man can marry any girl from any religion. Thats not true. The rule is same for both men and women. But the girls didn't correct his interpretation maybe because they also have a misunderstanding in their mind about this.

that doesn’t make sense, is the one with one master the same as the one with two? no he is not, to have two master mean having more then one to follow two different beings that are different from each other are bound to disagree. What happens when one conflicts the other which master are you supposed to follow. If the universe had multiple creators there would of been many discrepancies in the universe it would not be perfectly balanced as it is. there is only one creator, one Allah and he is the sustainer, the one in complete control.

It's interesting how they always try to read Islam through their own changing secular values. Yes Jan we take family seriously and good practicing spouses have mercy and love between each other and this is how we preserve the family. In a society where the number of single moms, rape, suicide and depression are skyrocketing may be western societies should question their increasingly secular values not Islamic values. This is our value. Great value. While western women are busy working for money, Muslim women stay at home taking care of the kids, obeying their husband. Feminists are not welcomed to this religion. Acknowledging the weaknesses of both men and women and doing each other part is what makes Islamic society great. Equal doesn't mean the same. If man works, woman doesn't need to work too. Instead doing her own part by taking care of kids and guarding husband's house by not letting someone else in when he's out on work.

It wasn't secular, and it didn't give equal rights. Read the Pact of Umar for example to get an idea: Prohibition against building new churches, places of worship, monasteries, monks or a new cell. (Hence it was also forbidden to build new synagogues. It is known that new synagogues were only built after the occupation of Islam, for example in Jerusalem and Ramle. A similar law, prohibiting the build of new synagogues, existed in the Byzantines, and was therefore not new for all Jews. It was new for the Christians.) Prohibition against rebuilding destroyed churches, by day or night, in their own neighbourhoods or those situated in the quarters of the Muslims. The worship places of non-Muslims must be lower in elevation than the lowest mosque in town. The houses of non-Muslims must not be taller in elevation than the houses of Muslims. Prohibition against hanging a cross on the Churches. Muslims should be allowed to enter Churches (for shelter) in any time, both in day and night. Obliging the call of prayer by a bell or a kind of Gong (Nakos) to be low in volume. Prohibition of Christians and Jews against raising their voices at prayer times. Prohibition against teaching non-Muslim children the Qur'an. Christians were forbidden to show their religion in public, or to be seen with Christian books or symbols in public, on the roads or in the markets of the Muslims. Palm Sunday and Easter parades were banned. Funerals should be conducted quietly. Prohibition against burying non-Muslim dead near Muslims. Prohibition against raising a pig next to a Muslims neighbour. Christian were forbidden to sell Muslims alcoholic beverage. Christians were forbidden to provide cover or shelter for spies. Prohibition against telling a lie about Muslims. Obligation to show deference toward Muslims. If a Muslim wishes to sit, non-Muslim should be rise from his seats and let the Muslim sit. Prohibition against preaching to Muslims in an attempt to convert them from Islam. Prohibition against preventing the conversion to Islam of some one who wants to convert. The appearance of the non-Muslims has to be different from those of the Muslims: Prohibition against wearing Qalansuwa (kind of dome that was used to wear by Bedouin), Bedouin turban (Amamh), Muslims shoes, and Sash to their waists. As to their heads, it was forbidden to comb the hair sidewise as the Muslim custom, and they were forced to cut the hair in the front of the head. Also non-Muslim shall not imitate the Arab-Muslim way of speech nor shall adopt the kunyas (Arabic byname, such as "abu Khattib"). Obligation to identify non-Muslims as such by clipping the heads' forelocks and by always dressing in the same manner, wherever they go, with binding the zunnar (a kind of belt) around the waists. Christians to wear blue belts or turbans, Jews to wear yellow belts or turbans, Zoroastrians to wear black belts or turbans, and Samaritans to wear red belts or turbans. Prohibition against riding animals in the Muslim custom, and prohibition against riding with a saddle. Prohibition against adopting a Muslim title of honour. Prohibition against engraving Arabic inscriptions on signet seals. Prohibition against any possession of weapons. Non-Muslims must host a Muslim passerby for at least 3 days and feed him. Non-Muslims prohibited from buying a Muslim prisoner. Prohibition against taking slaves who have been allotted to Muslims. Prohibition against non-Muslims to lead, govern or employ Muslims. If a non-Muslim beats a Muslim, his Dhimmi protection is removed. In return, the ruler would provide security for the Christian believers who follow the rules of the pact.

It’s not necessarily control, you’re thinking of it wrong. It’s guardianship. There has to be 1 leader. There’s 1 president of a country. There’s 1 person driving a car. There’s 1 “king of the jungle”. There’s 1 shepherd to a flock of sheep. Indeed all we are saying is, the Shepard of the family is the Father, the Man, since they have been made physically and emotionally stronger, and this is a fact. However, to be a leader, one must be kind, caring, loving, selfless, often putting his needs last before others, brave, confident, hard working, patient and understanding, etc So it’s not like the man has “control” over the wife and kids, it’s just, he is in the position of leadership, and like any good successful team, those under the leader must follow the leaders commands and direction and guidance, and support him, in order for the WHOLE team to collectively benefit. Infact woman actually want to be told what to do, they want a man who is confident who they can RELY on, this is the nature of life. If there are two drivers in a car, chaos ensues and it doesn’t work. 2 kings of a jungle? They fight. 2 presidents of a country? Impossible, because then there will be clash of ideas and this creates further problems. There has to be 1 leader in command, and that is the man, so long as he fulfills the duties and responsibilities I mentioned above, and the wife fulfills her duties of caring and supporting and loving and serving the husband, then there will be harmony and peace in the home.

Oh course, it’s not “fair” (the rules are applied with discrimination based on gender). But as a Christian woman, I was taught the roles in a marriage are different. There is a hierarchy and the husband is the head of the house (protector & provider). Wives submit to their husbands leadership. When everyone plays their part, the family thrives.

Logically, the man doesn't get pregnant, he is strong, he must take responsibility for the family, so he must be in charge of decisions. Man and woman are not the exactly same, their responsibilities become different, Islam is not blindly idealist, Islam speaks to reality.

@Yasmeen Haimed i honestly think you don't understand how important muslim girls are nowadays, they're actually the only real woman left in this world, ones that don't cheat, portray themselves as sex objects like western women and aren't always desperate for attention from other guys. I'm not a muslim guy, I left Islam about 6 years ago because I don't believe it is for me but I'm 21 right now and I can say that I pray to all good muslim women out there in finding a good man.
