it’s 2021, almost 2022 and I think we as a muslim community MUST move forward and stop shaming our women who are half of society. Many muslim women are above 30 and unmarried and some can’t have children and that IS OKAY! We shouldn’t deem them as spinsters and saying that they are not marriage material. Our prophet married Khadijah(as) who was almost 20 years older. So let’s stop this as it’s not part of our religion. I am 39, unmarried and can’t have children and this is NOT shameful. This is not my fault and I am not a vehicle for children. I am a beautiful woman who is worthy. And I am proud of who I am. If you are a man or woman of the muslim faith reading this, then know you are not alone and you are worthy! Let’s end the discrimination

The kind of situation you are in, sounds like the only logical option would be to move out to a muslim dominant community. If your intense urge to get married is weighing down on you, then I'd like to think that its kinda obligatory upon you to find ways to move out to a place where coming across Muslim men is relatively easier than otherwise.

Alot of women high maintain divorced women are seeking the same qualities in men. While being divorced from their husbands who were also doctors, engineers, or business owners... I personally don't care about a woman's career, money, assets or whatever they have.

May ALLAH (SWT) grant you what you need and want, and much more, in DUNYA and AKHIRA.

Does anybody have advice for someone who has been watching bad videos often in his past and has stopped doing so to become a better muslim and find a wife insha'Allah but because of watching these videos ib his past he now has a different perspective about how a woman should look like. He isn't satisfied with the beauty of an average woman anymore and it's really frustrating to him because he wants to marry on the one hand but has trouble finding a wife who he finds physically appealing enough. Does anybody have some advice? Dua would also be really appreciated

Do not allow other people's opinion of you define you. Believe in yourself and know that if those women didn't see the value in you, then perhaps it's because they do not know what is valuable after all. Also, Allah sometimes takes keeps some people out of our lives because they are not good for us, even when we think they are all that. He knows what we know not, though, doesn't He? So do not despair, for if you do, the women would have beaten you twice- rejected you and destroyed your life. Let them not win, brother. I wish I could chat with you more to get you of this

@@aishafaridaahmad2832 very hard to believe in yourself when I’ve been rejected my entire life. Even if one lady just considered me and then said no, I’d have a bit of hope. But that’s never happened. Also keeping some people out of our lives, sure that makes sense, but why have me come across them and fill me with hope, only to them crush me over and over again?? What’s the wisdom behind that? I’ve come to the conclusion that finding the love of your life is purely luck, and it’s not in everyone’s qadr; the evidence for this is, so many toxic people find love whereas a lot of good people don’t. So it’s all luck. Right now, I want to be able to accept that, more than wanting to find a wife. The sooner I’m able to cross that hurdle and force my emotions and mind to accept that, the quicker I can move in my life. Jzk for your thoughts

@@ashbringer78 I’ve been asking Allah for 15 years now. I never had a girlfriend or messed around with girls during my youth. Whereas my friends who did, most of them are happily married. I am still working on myself but how much more do I have to work? I have a well paid job, I’m a hafidh, I’m respectful and courteous, driven. Yet I’m still not good enough. My friends tell me get built and muscular and a six pack, rich with six figures, then if you can’t find a woman you can complain. Whilst I am working on those things, last time I checked not every man who is happily married has all of these things, so why do I have to? I feel resentful that I’ll never be able to find a woman who loves me for me and not some BS superficial attributes about me. Maybe cos I’m a short 5’2 midget that I have to achieve all of these things to be good enough

Second try halal dating and be like romantic and funny. Don't ever lose hope, just remember the prophet married khadijah when she was about 40 years old. Always be hopeful about the future.

I am 28 and i am a girl ..... Due to many circumstances I didn't marry earlier..... I studied and some kind of fear of bad marriages I thought I should get financially stable first because my parents weren't financial stable.... My mom now and then says why you needed to study you should have married a load would be reduced. I know she worries for me her intention is good but it demotivates me to the core.

Don't have this intention that your future husband should be your ATM machine for your household. While men are supposed to be the breadwinners, it is really a very big turn-off if the woman only wants to work just for her own fancies and do lala-haha with her friends while the husband only works his tail off to make both ends meet. Spoken by a man. You can be modern AND conservative at the same time. It remains fard for him to work nonetheless but if two people work and two people contribute in the household work, that;s called teamwork

Speak to your local imam/Sheikh or someone with experience in marriage/counselling. They’ll be able to advise you. Allah has guided you to Islam and inshallah He may guide your partner too. But if that is not the best outcome for you, then inshallah there will be something better. There are additional challenges with reverting and how that affects a person’s family dynamics. I pray that Allah makes it easy for you.

Instead of marrying that guy, best kick him out. Stand your ground. You say it is your apartment, you mean you pay the bills right? Legally you can kick him out. You are only cohabiting, not married yet. If he can’t respect your wishes than he won’t respect them anymore than he does now if you marry him. If you so wish to have a husband whom to stay with you and care for you and the kids than find someone! Locate your nearest marriage bureau, or find a site online for muslims who want to marry. If you have friends ask them for help in finding someone. Don’t give up hope! InshaAllah with your efforts and duas you will find the right solution to your problems.

Say yes to him if he is a good guy. And your parents approve. Cause trust me, options start declining with the increasing age. But definitely get married at the age of 18 or above.

Because A lot of them have this kinda mindset that they want someone perfect. Or they always say am too young to get married. So if this sister parent found a good guy for her, why discourage her? It’s impossible for some sisters to find a guy for them selves because today’s day and age 80% of the guys are like bulls with 2 horns brother. Abu Hurairah narrated that: The Prophet said: "A widow should not be given in marriage until she is ask, and a virgin should not be given in marriage until her permission is sought, and her silence is her permission."

remove your profile picture and wear the hijab. get rid of any feminist thoughts and ideas that go against islam. practise islam properly. Don't free mix with the opposite gender, pray your salah etc. Increase your knowledge, you can watch assim al hakeem for quick boosts of knowledge. Don't be scared of the people even if they know that you were not practising before. forget about them and change or you will regret it until your death and after that because of the sinful life you had led before. if you are fat lose weight. Thats probably the best advice I can give. it would defiantly increase the chances and you would find someone a lot quicker. If you have high expectations lower them. your expectations may be unrealistic, and you will never find someone that meets all the criteria.

But age is still a factor, for both men and women but more so women because of the biological clock so u yes still have to worry about your age because what you can get at 31 isn’t the same as 21/25 and everyone knows this. As people get older their standards become lower with each passing year. And then if u want kids unfortunately there’s a limit to have them which is scary for a woman.

This is why as a man I never fall for non Muslim women. Because I know it always leads to compatibility issues. Either get him interested in Islam or forget about him. There are more interesting Muslim brothers out there who are single and would do anything in their means to have a girl like you. I fell in love with a non muslim guy ,expected him to become Muslim , he didn't , alhamdulillah i couldn't change either. Hence told him no n made him changed his mind for years n finally he moved on n this year he is getting married n I'm still single. Trust me convincing him to move on n then letting him go just wasn't easy. My heart broke in thousand pieces each day , even till now it's not easy. But you have to do it. Choose heaven or hell for yourself. Remaining 30 years with your non muslim spouse in this world n then forever hell or suffer for a while here n trust allah that he will heal u n help u.

Moreover u are wasting his time too. Don't repeat my mistake. Let him go n live his life. It's easy to say than implement. But trust me , allah helps. Suffer for a while , get out of this relationship n the reward is hereafter. Don't sail in 2 boats. Don't torture yourself. Pray to allah n please stop wasting your time n his time too. 3 years i kept on telling him no . After that he moved on. It took a hell lot of courage n sacrifice to say him no when he was perfect for me except religion difference. It wasn't easy. But isn't our own fault in the first place that we got involved . We choose the wrong path n hence we are suffering. Allah gave all the instructions . We didn't follow. I blame myself for my actions but my ex suffered emotionally and mentally along with me. It was equally painful for him to depart n move on n i will never forgive myself for that.

i feel like todays society is making men too anxious with all the expectations. also the fact that school and gaining wealth takes time until the age of 30, and marriage needs start at around 13-21 shows theres a big imbalance in the system.

How do u take action if ur a woman? It's not a woman's job to pursue and charm men it's a man's job to come to her. Online 'dating' is a sham Arranged marriage in my family and the process they do it in is unhealthy and toxic. Associates that I know they are single themselves and don't know anyone.

Also, it is your wali's JOB to seek out marriage prospects if you can't so 1000% ask your dad if, through his connections, he knows any good marriage prospects, or your brother etc. Just ask them to keep an eye out bc they should be looking for you as well edit: oh nvm, just read what u said abt arranged marriages

I don't know if that is wise. Older people need to save for retirement so combining income in old age could be hard. If you are in love it will make marriage easy but otherwise being old and married will be tricky. I personally will never be married because it is hard to find employment as a woman and I'm asexual anyway. If you can have enough money for yourself and the person you marry has a job than getting married in old age could work. Don't fornicate but marry rather than fornicate. "Flee fornication. well, have you entered puberty? are you attracted to the opposite gender? try get married young then. and focus on building yourself up properly as a man. when you are able to get a job and earn some money. but since you may not be able to tp work depending on where you live, you should focus on your physical health
